This little cafe holds such a special place in my heart.. Our twin girls were born prematurely and we spent 5 months at UCDavis with them. One of the nurses told us about the Sunshine Cafe and it instantly became our favorite. The owners became almost like family to us.. They were always so sweet and always greeted us with warmth. Their food was always incredible and the atmosphere is great too! We are in Idaho now and can't enjoy their delicious food, unfortunately. If we are in the area again we will definitely be stopping by. Thank you for the wonderful memories!
Great family owned restaurant for breaky and lunch. They are always so warm and welcoming. Perfect escape as a UCD Health staff.
Looking for a healthier breakfast. This little shop next to UC Davis Medical was perfect, and Udon was special on the menu!

I LOVE THIS PLACE AND MISS IT! Walking distance from my previous employer much time was spent with a full stomach because of the quaint eatery. The owners were always very kind and service was always wonderful. Thank you for the Love in my tummy!
Usually don't leave reviews, but I had to on this occasion. Great customer service, great food and although the prices may be a bit high for some, I felt like the interactions with the owners made it worth it to help support this small business.
The owners were very welcoming and nice. I felt like they appreciated me coming by. I had their chicken noodle soup and bbq beef. Very delicious and far exceeded my expectations.
Had the sandwich combo. Good food at a great price (generous portions)!!!

This is conveniently placed to UCD. I got tired eating the cafeteria food when hubby was there for his transplant surgery. Food is good, but the Korean dishes are my favorite food to get here.
Good food. Convenient if you're at UCD medical center. Parking situation is not ideal. Not sure what the owners can do about that, just something to be aware of.
Great service and decent food. Difficult parking so unless you're walking by, which based on how familiar the staff was with everyone that came in on foot, I wouldn't recommend tryouts ng to sit down and eat here.
Gem of a find for breakfast near the hotel where I stayed. Morning was WAY better after getting breakfast noodles
Cafe food, yeah, so great. Great place to relax, people watch, eat good food or all the above. Certainly worth a return trip. Prices are appropriate for the quality.
