The burgers and fries are always great here! It's one of my favorite local burger joints.
Incredibly happy to find a place like this so close to home! I've been craving a place that makes burgers and fries similar to Foster's freeze for a while now. This place does similar style food, better fries, -and- I don't have to drive to Lodi to get it!
Burger was a touch dry for me, but I also don't get any sauce in my burger so that's more on me than anything else. That said, the flavor of the burger was fantastic and you can really taste the freshness compared to other places. The fries were crunchy and salty, delicious.
The only thing else I can say I'd that sometimes the drive-thru line takes a bit, but the food is something I'm willing to wait for. Please support local business like these so we can continue to have delicious non-chain food near us.
Village Drive-in is in my neighborhood, so I stop by from time to time. This is the place to get a good Angus burger, or even some chilli cheese fries. They do carry chicken and fish options as well. And, their shakes are unbeatable! I should also mention, this spot has a drive-thru.
Been going here over 45 years..Once Mary was gone & sold the place..I thought ' aww maan..won't be the same '..well guess what ??..It TASTE THE SAME AS IF SHE STILL MADE THEM DELUX BURGERS !!..always good & always filling..burgers..fries..mushrooms are delicious..

They have great food nothing here I wouldn’t try been coming here for a number of yrs and never felt unwelcomed nor ate anything I got sick off of thanks you guys keep up the great work!

The standard consensus seems to be, 'a little pricey', I concur.
I had the DOUBLE BURGER, FRIES & DRINK MEAL at $17.18 or 3 gallons of gas at today's prices.
Everything seems to be FRESH, the freshly ground Angus beef, the lettuce, tomato, onion & pickle all had that FRESH, CRISP TASTE!
The beef was not that tasty... I believe it is fresh Angus, just did not have much flavor to it.
The fries are plentiful, FRESH and THICK they have that potato taste with just a tad too much salt. Not enough to drive you away, but, enough to make you aware. They were very tasty both well done and crispy as well as medium, tender and juicy, perfect combination for fries.
"No coke, just Pepsi" so I enjoyed a Dr.Pepper.
When driving by one would not think, 'Hey, that place looks nice, let's go there' as I have driven by HUNDREDS OF TIMES and never stopped. I did stop today as I saw the rating/review at 4.5! THAT I WILL ASSUME is why everyone stops in either the reviews OR... just out of curiosity.
ANYWAY... My rating of 4.0 is a result of the $17.18 price tag and the urge was lacking that BEEF FLAVOR.
BOTTOMLINE:... The burger, fries and Dr. Pepper were NOT worth $17.18!
I will probably not go back, I was actually thinking about going to Carl's Jr. for my double burger and went to the VILLAGE DRIVE-IN as a result of the reviews.

By far one of the best burgers and fries in the Sacramento area. They use freshly made Angus beef patties for every burger and the fries alone are worth a trip. Don't expect quick service at either the drive thru or counter. They only cook to order so be prepared to wait a few minutes. Good food is well worth it.
This is a throwback to when there were neighborhood drive-ins where parents could bring their families for a summer time treat of a hamburger and milk shake. I highly recommend this burger establishment!

Pleasant experience. Pulled through the drive-thru and was helped efficiently and kindly. The Coffee Shake was pretty good, and the Avocado BLT was alright, though didn't really have much bacon. The Fried Mushrooms were unique, I liked them but they were pretty greasy and hurt my stomach.😔
All in all, a cool spot, definitely wanna check it out again when I am back in Sacramento.
Came here for a bacon cheeseburger and fries. They were fantastic! Since that delicious first meal I've recommended this place to friends and family. 🍔 😋
I haven't eaten there for over ten years when I retired and moved away. It hasn't changed. The Giant burger is still the best burger ever! Friendly staff! Worth the stop when in town.
A hidden gem that mostly just the locals know about. Staff is friendly, and the quality is 200% better than any other burger joint I know of. My new favorite go to if I'm down for a burger!!
Food was good, customer service excellent, overall clean. Outdoor seating available and spacious. And drive, in a plus :) .

Awesome family operated operation. One of my favorite go to spots in town for the deluxe Burgers of course. I also have been indulgent of the BLT+avocado as well. I generally skip the side dishes here and get a shake which totally fills you up. They also have one of my childhood favorites....SlushPuppies. I always order on the phone or from the walk up window their drivethru line is almost always 4 cars long.
It was ok. Probably won’t go back. Maybe to try a shake. BLT was like a cafeteria sandwich. Burger was better
