The Hidden coffee house Gem of Del Paso Boulevard. Fantastic place to get a great cup of coffee for a fair price. There is stimulating art you can purchase there on the walls. I wouldn't mind hanging out a little longer during my visits but I have to go to work. I did notice a small stage as you walk in to the right which would lead me to believe they have live music there once in awhile.

Son of a Bean is a fantastic little coffee shop! It has a great atmosphere, art and people! Couldn't recommend this shop more if I could. The owner Mike is a loveable guy who has a big heart and cares for all of his customers.

When I had coffee there, it was pretty smooth. It wasn't so acidic and bite you back like the coffee I usually have, and certainly not like certain unmentionable coffee shops. I was happy to go back after a hiring event I went to in the area.

Love the vibe here. The location is a little out of the way for most people, but once you're there you feel at home. MIchael is a great guy and I'd be willing to bet you've got something in common with him. He seems very involved in the community. And the artwork inside is pretty high-caliber too. But wait, it's a coffee shop, so I should probably mention the coffee. Sacramento is blessed to have several fantastic purveyors of coffee, and I would add this one to the list. Anyone making such a list should visit Son of a Bean. Most of the customers I've seen in my visits are regulars who have already figured this out.

True Mom and Pop operation. Great coffee, great vibe, great people. Artwork, events and open mic nights. Delicious hot food on a limited/specials menu as well as local pastries and other items.

I've been going to this coffee shop off and on since they've open. Everyone is friendly, art on the walls, family owned. Great place for coffee lovers.

Good service and coffee. The coffee is from Chocolate Fish. Art deco interior. Some pre-made scones, muffins, etc. But if you want to eat something this is probably not the place.

Great local coffee shop. Folks should support local business off the grid and this place is one of many good spots.

A good spot to stop for a cup of coffee. I had work to do on my laptop. The internet worked great, the service was good, and the coffee was solid.
