The interior of this place is dingy and if I'm being honest, it smells kinda weird. It doesn't appear to have a whole lot going on for itself. If you were to judge this book by its cover, you would likely put it back on the shelf.
But what this cafe lacks in glamorous appliances and quality lighting, it makes up for in scrumptious servings. The aesthetic does not match the quality of the food. My wife and I got an order of hummus, the gyro combo, and the falafel sandwich, and lemme tell you: IT WAS DAMN GOOD. The hummus was creamy and packed with flavor, the falafel was crunchy and matched perfectly with the contents inside the pita - which, by the way, was fluffy, warm, and tasted fresh - and the gyro wrap was fantastic. Even the fries tasted great.
We had our criticisms, though. We wished the gyro wrap came with tzatziki instead of sour cream. And we wish we had bought more of the hummus and pita..
If you can look past its appearance, this joint has great food to offer. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is for the condition of the interior.
Delicious gyros and chicken plates, great service and location
