This place is jumping for a Friday night neighborhood bar , come earl if you like playing pool ,darts or shuffle board. Great job staff, Andy & Morgan.
Great dive bar in East Sac. Lots of games and a great draft beer selection. Enjoy the outdoor seating area behind the bar during COVID - just make sure to bring your own food!
The first bartender was very nice and accommodating. She had to leave I guess. The second bartender seemed put off to help us. The other one came back and everything was great again.
It will be a little while before I come back to hilltop. A little to clickey. If you're not one of the east sac regulars you're not treated the same. Sad
Cool spot. Decent pool tables, darts, great bartenders, jukebox, somewhat limited parking... complete hit or miss on the clientele though. Met some really cool people here... and some complete weirdos. Doesn't seem to be a happy medium, which is why I don't frequent this bar.

My neighborhood bar. Nice selection of beers but IPA heavy; friendly, knowledgeable staff; great group of regulars; good prices; cheap games. Get the app for the jukebox. Always a good time at the Hilltop.
No food served, but there are great options nearby you can eat inside.
Good classic dive bar. Good beer and drink list. Free pool tables and darts. it can get crowded and the bathroom situation is a bit lacking but overall pretty good. If you want a good simple drink at a good price then this is your place. Plus one speed pizza across the street is awesome

Its a bit tidy but the atmosphere was fun filled with friendly and nice people. Price on drinks are great. You will find a pool table and a ping pong table there. Great place. If that building was a bigger place for sports I would give it a 5 star rating.
The drinks are decently priced and there is a fairly good selection of beers on tap. There are free bar games like billiards, shuffleboard, and darts. The atmosphere is good and the place has never been too loud and crowded to talk with someone even when I was there for a special event.

Pool table and games makes it a nice social atmosphere
Awesome beer selection. Nice pool tables. However,don't even think about trying to play serious pool on a Fri. or Sat. night. One pool table becomes a ping pong table. And then, you have to deal with that, a shuffle board table, and a video golf game that are WAY too close.
Another good place to shoot pool.
Good crowd. Good bartenders. Just need some maintenance on pool tables/shuffleboard & pucks.
