We had lunch here and it was good. We enjoyed the chicken strips, fries, tea, and beers. The service was good and nice atmosphere. They have a variety of food to order. I definitely recommend stopping in to eat if you want a quick bite to eat. Also, we enjoyed playing the pinball machines too. They also have tv screens playing various things. Such a nice spot to unwind in.
Although I do not approve of that particular truckstop, that restaurant was excellent, food was cooked very well and the waitress and servers were all nice people, and very attentive! Other than that I wouldn’t give you $.50 for that truckstop
Hugeee tasty breakfast. Nice people. Order cafeteria style but they bring your food to your table. Had the chicken fried steak, it’s good. Desert case looked amazing but did not try anything from there.
Restaurant under new management, absolutely love the customer service, exceptional, polite and professional attitudes by each of the ladies, delicious food, smoked ribs and tri-tip with two dollar cheaper prices than black bear and hot off the griddle!!!!!! Absolutely delicious desserts they have a raspberry lemon cheesecake sometimes that melts in your mouth!!! Delicious! Friendly! Great place for pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream at night time!!
Had a veggie omelet my 1st there, then a turkey bacon omelet the 2nd day. Delicious and filling, treat yourself you deserve it.
My wife and I decided to try out the 49er Diner for breakfast, and we were not disappointed. The ordering process was simple: we chose from the menu, paid at the counter, and were seated by the friendly staff. The two ladies working that day were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home.
I ordered the Pancake breakfast while my wife went for the Long haul burrito. Both dishes were delicious, and we enjoyed our beverages - I had hot tea while my wife had hot coffee. If you end up with leftovers, you can even ask for to-go boxes.
What really made the 49er Diner stand out was the atmosphere. The place had a great vibe, with truckers coming and going, giving the diner an authentic feel. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, and the food was absolutely delicious. We would definitely recommend the 49er Diner to anyone looking for a great breakfast spot!
Easy to find and access off the freeway with typical truck stop parking.
Food and 24 hour service is "pretty good" according to my Transportation Industry dining companion.
Restaurant is clean and features two pinball machines among the arcade game offerings in the far corner.
Delicious food, great portions, fair prices, and friendly servers!! Come, check out Pork spare ribs, or tri-tip that’s been smoked in the smoker for hours!!! Grab a draft beer watch a game on one of 3 big screen tvs! New Restaurant manager has amazing customer service skills—-Super Pet Friendly 🐾 Delicious breakfast served all day! Come get biscuits and gravy, Pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream in the middle of the night!!!!
Best food .. Best service . Hands down this is Best place to food after hours ! I love the pinball games there I'm addicted I think to the ribs .... smoked to perfection ! Always good ...The service is great I have to hand it to them . Its a different atmosphere ... calm soothing .. the manager there is really hands on and is great . She alone is the reason I come back . Besides her great looks( she's married) Gina I think her name is.. she's really helpful and always willing to go the extra mile for her guests . Like I said she's the reason I come back . It's hard to find a place that treats you like a guest instead of a customer so I'll be coming back here for all my late night food and pinball cravings .....

Food was great and so was the very friendly staff. Enjoyed my bacon avocado burger with tots and ranch both times and the beer was nice being on draft.

This is a place you have to order and pay and then you sit and they bring your food. The bun on the 49er burger was to die for 🤌 and the side salad was incredibly fresh and a good size too. I highly recommend eating here. It's clean and the place has good scenery and the food is so fresh. Also SEMIS don't pay for parking. Go inside and spend $50 and get free 24hr parking. As far as prices we got two burgers with side salads and two drinks for $34.01 (see pic). Fair price in my opinion. If you read my review do me a fav and follow me here on google. TIA 😁

Simple comfort food made to order. I've only eaten here twice. Both times were after hours and oy a couple of other customers inside. The place gets very busy on the weekends mostly breakfast hours.
It's always very clean and has a self serve drink area. Don't forget to grab your napkins and silverware while getting your drink. Again I've eaten here two times so I have yet to explore more of the menu. Both time I've ordered a different burger and both times I was satisfied. If anything was to change I'd say the portion size. It's a good serving sive but why not have more.
Our burning man bus came in 15 min before closing. We were all tired after the hassle it was to get out of Black Rock, covered in mud and hungry. The team was kind enough to make us all good food (nothing poorly made or badly put together) which was amazing. The manager kept a smile on her face the entire time and made sure we all got what we needed. Thank you for feeding us and apologies for the mess we made with all the dust!
