Tamales are good, but too much masa. Increase the filling and decrease the masa content. Prices too high for the quality.
Ordered the birria heart taco box for Valentine's Day and it was delicious. We ordered in advanced but the tacos were prepared fresh and consume was amazing! This is a local gem for sure!
Their tamales exceeded my expectations! Def better than la esperanzas 🤠. I usually get pork or chicken but this time I tried Yolandas veggie tamale and it was delicious! it don’t taste veggie at all! Also, their tacos mmm! They are the real deal Mexican street tacos and I’ve had a lot in my days but these I can’t stop coming back for! Especially their unique shrimp tacos!! Their tacos are by far the best I’ve had too! Their burritos and new YoQuesadilla are also 🔥 bomb af!
I got a free chicken tamale from the food truck today at a vaccine clinic. Love that they were helping to support public health and the food was amazing! The tamale was large and had a great ratio of meat to masa. So delicious!! I'll definitely be stopping by the restaurant and the food truck when I see it around town.

It’s my second year coming here to purchase tamales for Raleys 435 team member, during Christmas. The tamales are so scrumptious and huge. The team is in love with their tamales. We look forward to purchasing food from here for our next occasion.
Side note, I brought some tamales to my mom and family, they thought it was really good! Approved by a Mexican household 😃

Awesome Owners! Tiny little place hidden in the business area of Luther Drive but awesome service. Would go back and try other items next time. We had ordered tamales, Chili Colorado burritos, 2 drinks and the special sweet tamale which is only available when they make it. The sweet tamales has a unique taste something different I have never tried before, but it was very good.

So arrived at Yolanda's on a Tuesday about an hour closing and it was Busy! I waited in line but unfortunately they had run out of their tamales and let me know I would have to come back tomorrow. While sad, I was happy to know that it meant what I was going to get tomorrow was gonna be fresh! I arrived early the next day picked up a few for the yelp event and a few extras as I figure why not.
Boy where they great and really wished I had grabbed another dozen. First thing is that the tamales themselves were great but the YOTamale option really brought it up to another level and honestly I would stop here just for this. Unfortunately I didn't try anything else but I'm happy with the signature item being a real knock out. Don't skip on this add on as the extra charge really makes it worth it!
People try this place, very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this establishment.
Ok so my friend and I seek out the best tamales in Sacramento every year for Xmas. The last two years we've gone with Esperanzas and decided to look again. This year we had Yolanda's and I must say these are the best tamales I've had here!! The tamales are huge! Lots of meat! Chili in the masa is what makes a tamale for me and these had it!! They are very flavorful. I had a chicken and a pork. They were out of cheese. I took off one star due to price, they are expensive for tamales but I believe they make up for it with the amount of meat they put in them. The only thing missing from being like my abuelas tamales is the olive. Other than that really, really good. I'll definitely be back! It's a small hole in the wall spot with limited seating and parking. Located in industrial strip area near Franklin Ave in South Sac.
