I drive 30-minutes to eat here and it's so worth it! Real Texas BBQ and not some chain wanna-be joint. My tip: come for the great BBQ, but I dare you to find better Fried Pickles in the area. Hand battered perfection right when you order. It's no wonder this place is packed!
The pork is really good and the green beans are probably the best I've had!
Dined at the Pit for a great lunch experience! I had the 2 plate combo (brisket and jalapeño sausage) with fries. It had been nearly 5 years since the last time I ate here and the food was as good as before. Well done!
Not a BBQ person, But really good appetizers! The most important part ice cold drinks. The Waitress keep the beer coming! A relaxing good time place!
It was a great place to eat. My boyfriend and his parents my grandson and my boyfriend's oldest son along with boyfriend's big brother. We had a great time, great ribs, great all-around everything. My grandson and I will be going back and eat there for lunch.
Stopped by for a quick snack. Had the Loaded potato with turkey, side of of jalipino sausage. And of course a cold beverage. Turkey was moist and delicious. Sausage was just right not too spicy and the perfect amount of cheese mixed in. BBQ sauce was a awesome compliment, nice and sweet. Was able to talk to one of the pit masters Matt. Great guy who u could tell took pride in what he does. Been comming here for years and will definitely be back.
