Our friends kept insisting for us to have breakfast here. And so we did.
Very nice place. Pies indeed are drier on the outside, but really good with coffee (or without) - someone mentioned in other reviews, so I wanted to refer to this. It really didn't matter and they were really good.
Coffee is great too.
Ordered hot chocolate for the kid - and it was not too sweet and creamy! Yay. Hard to find.
Lovely little place. Absolutely enjoyed the coffee flavors and the non-dairy options for coffee, as well as several vegan/gluten-free bakery options.
Plenty of cozy seating options in a spacious area that’s sparsely, but well decorated.
My only feedback for improvement is to add prices to the menu. You gotta have prices posted. Even if it’s a range of prices based on local market conditions. That’s why it isn’t a 5-star rating.
Too scrumptious to stay away. Give it a shot if you’re exploring the area.
Will definitely go back when we visit St. Augustine again.
Wow, I think I may have found a new favorite coffee shop. Outstanding vanilla latte (hot aussie) plus gluten free pumpkin donut and coconut curry pie.
Delicious (& half-off $ happy hour 4pm apparently).
I even spilled my entire drink trying to wrangle my pupp and items, and they were so sweet and made me another drink.
I'll be back for sure 👍👍
Cool local coffee shop, pumpkin spice latte has real pumpkin in it, to die for. Fresh pastries
Excellent coffee and aesthetics! Really excited about the support for local artisans and producers: honey , ceramics, etc.
Long-time Kook customer, first time visitor to this location! The staff is SUPER nice, and since it was slow, one of the baristas helped my buddy find the best coffee for his first time at Kook. As always, their coffee was great, and I got a meat pie that was ridiculously good too!
Got take out breakfast twice while we were in the area for a week. Enjoyed the crustless breakfast pies with bacon and spinach. The Honey Badger was amazing. And the staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions. Wish there was a Koomabura here in the Poconos of PA!!
This is the most unique coffee shop that I've ever been to. They have breakfast pies that are delicious and flaky. They also have lunch pies but we did not get a chance to try those. They also have homemade cookies, donuts, and breakfast bars. They also have draft beer in there as well. Its nice because you can get a coffee and a beer after a long night of celebration. I do know they have several locations and I feel like this one gets left out. The girls at the counter are super sweet and helpful. We had the pleasure of being served by Victoria.
Nice coffee spot with good food, including Aussie pies.
For coffee, any one of their shops are worth a quick detour for me. Their coffee tastes just like it smells when roasting. “Long Balck” (water with espresso over) reveal better notes in my opinion as far as black coffee goes.
Busy hours, it’s a in-outgo, no one will take the time for any small talk.
Not to busy hours, baristas are willing to talk and share information. I have not purchased any coffee beans because they have never had the time (or courtesy) to discuss it. The attitude is “you want it or not”. So I just get and enjoy a good coffee when in the area, but that’s as far as I will go.
A lovely place to work in a simple, yet cozy environment while enjoying a good #espresso bean or even a #vegan or #gluten-free sweet desert. ☕
Hidden on a parking lot, around the lovely beaches in Saint Augustine, a place to get your laptop out a be creative or simple enjoy a good coffee with friends, while enjoying a day by the beach. 🏖🧠☕
In case you also enjoy yoga, there os the HotSpot Yogaz right nect to the coffee shop.;)🧘♀️
First time here - visiting the area! Great food! Friendly staff. Clean unisex bathroom!
Love Kookaburra. Their coffee and pastries are both always fresh and delicious. Great inside lounge area and high speed WiFi. Patio area out front if that’s your vibe. Right off A1A, by the beach -so convenient in St. Augustine Beach Florida.
Great coffee and this location. Tastes exactly like the other locations (that's a good thing!). Best coffee in St Augustine.
Great coffee, they serve hot or cold. I don't usually get cold but got it this time and it was terrific with great flavor. Outdoor seating was available.
Kookaburra is always a treat to stop in after work in the morning ☺️ this location has the friendliest staff who are always happy to make small talk and engage in conversations, we come in so early there is barely anyone there and it is such a peaceful, stress-free environment! My boyfriend is newly obsessed with the Aussie meat pies, and the scones are always super big and fluffy inside ❤️ I've tried a few drinks since starting my Kookaburra journey and my favorite has become the P.C. (hot or iced both delicious) with a little extra sweet. They make it absolutely perfectly every time! Love coming here far more than any other chain coffee company, and their prices are competitive (especially since big Bux keeps raising their prices). If there was location open in Palm Coast, I don't think I'd go anywhere else! Keep up the lovely work! ❤️
Best coffee in St Aug! Hot Aussie and the Coconut Mocha are the best. Amazing food and the friendliest staff you can find. Couldn’t recommend any more 🇦🇺
Get there early, if you want an incredible Aussie pie. This is not a secret place, so if you’re looking forward to an authentic Australian dish, get in early. Their coffee is well prepared too. All in all, great food and drinks, and a great group of staff.
