Slow service. Good food. Don't expect great service. Large menu, plenty of vegetarian options. Great smoothies.
This is the best (and my favorite) Kibbee Nyee EVER! Been going to Steve's for this since Charlie only had the place on Harper. The new bar area is very nice but not why I go. If you're looking for Kibbee Nyee try this place.
Finally!. After more than a half dozen meals here, I found a dish that really pleased my palate: Steve's Shish Tawook.
It's a nicely grilled (with a bit of char) portion of beef accompanied by roasted peppers and onions. The Basmati rice served with the main was light and tasty. The restaurant serves this plate in half and full portion sizes. The half I ordered was sufficient for a lunch meal. Probably even for a dinner meal.
Service was charming and attentive (but its been that way with every visit).
With a newly minted Class C Liquor License in his back pocket, the owner should become a major player on the Nautical Mile food scene.
