One of the best restaurants in St Louis. From the quality of the food, the service, and the friendless its 5 stars all the way around. We come a couple times a year from dinner and the specials for the evening as well as anything else on the menu never disappoint. If you've ever thought about coming here make a reservation and you won't be disappointed.

Excellent meal- all 4 courses! The Ravioli appetizer was the best for sure. Brought home a bottle of their house made lemoncello, too :)

A little hidden gem in south county St. Louis. Oh, this is one of the nicer restaurants in south county. Tucktaway in a little strip mall near Joey Bs. Today we sat at the bar and had a drink and appetizers and a salad. All were excellent and the bartender was an excellent server. I’ve never been disappointed when I’ve been here for a full meal. Service has always been good and the food has always been exceptional. Kind of funny though because when I come here for my birthday like three years in a row it’s been on a Monday when they were closed. Lol .

Had an amazing date night with my wife tonight. She said "that is the BEST lobster basque I've ever had" I ordered the Fillet Roberto and it was cooked perfectly with a delicious muchroom amd cheese topping. My wife had the chicken spedinit which was full of some amazing breading! So delicious!!! The decor was very nice and the staff was extremely polite and courteous. It's been a couple years since we have visited, this restaurant, but our experience was amazing! We will be back soon.

Great Italian Restaurant in the Greater St. Louis area. Don't let the look from the street fool you. It is a wonderful interior with even better food. The service was great and very fast. Many dishes offer a wide variety of Italian cuisine and grilled options for multiple tastes. Highly recommended for all looking for something special.

Amazing dinner tonight! Quickly seated, great service, amazing appetizers and entrees. Kids loved the fettuccine and tortellini. I had the sea bass which melt in your mouth and had so much flavor. My husband had the rigatoni with huge pieces of crab claws and shrimp. Everyone left very full and so happy! We will definitely be coming back! The owner was so nice and personable. Must visit if in St. Louis. You will not be disappointed!

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in STL. Lobster Bisque is second to none. The tortellini is hand-made and fabulous. They give great wine pours and the wait staff is excellent. The staff describes how all the food and drinks are prepared to incredible specific details. Definitely would recommend for anybody visiting St. Louis who want to try authentic Italian-American food.

Expect to spend a lot more at this restaurant than many other places. The quality of the food justifies the costs, in my opinion. The calamari was not the best that I have had, although it was pretty good. The special handmade pasta plate had shrimp that was huge and so exquisitely cooked. The seafood pasta was phenomenal! The restaurant has a nice ambiance; the wait staff was friendly and attentive. If you want to impress someone, a meal at this restaurant may just help you achieve that goal.

We had a party of 20 and they knocked it out of the park. The food was an 11 out of 10 and Jamie and Alex took excellent care of us from start to finish. Hats off to the kitchen as well. The steaks were tender and cooked perfectly…this will be my new go to for a steak. Thank you Roberto’s for a wonderful experience!

Excellent service and absolutely amazing cuisine. We drove 1.5 hours (one way) to get here for my wife’s birthday, and it was worth every mile. It will become a once a month trip.

When we walked in, some people finished and was leaving the restaurant noticing we are reading the menu and he said, everything was good here. Any foodies will know, each restaurant will have it's popular dish that they do well, but not every dish. Well, I guess I was wrong. Chicken Parmigiana - that was an extra dish to share so we didn't start on it until later, but it was still crispy, cheese was just right amount, the sauce was excellent, just right, not to sour (tomatoes) just perfectly seasoned sauce. Chicken was tender, not too thick. Shrimp - Nicely grilled, very fresh and crisp. It's impressive. Chicken Spiedini - I didn't taste too much of it, not my dish but the stuffing was very tasty, the sauce was delicious, just the right taste. Lobster tagliatelle - My dish, mine! My precious! It was the best. I forgot to check how much it costs but it didn't matter. So much lobster meat, the sauce is delicious, the pasta was al dente. The only thing is, I shouldn't have ordered the lobster bisque, I think the sauce is based on the bisque or may be the same. Fried calamari - Was I impressed. I've had so many fried calamari and this one is nicely done. Perfectly done in fact. Some fried Calamari I had before were slightly soggy, you can see oil on the plate, battered came off and oily as well. But here, calamari were crispy, the battered didn't come off, not a lot of oil on the plate and it's crispy not soggy. They truly done a wonderful job with it. I was particularly impressed with their thoughtfulness where they wrapped the you go box. So thoughtful! So the sauce will not spill out. What a find! I've been to many many excellent Italian restaurant and many many pasta trip to Italy but those place is special. What a gem! When you look at the entrance you definitely going to wonder may be it's not too late to go some where else. But the inside decor is very nice. Guess you can't judge a book by the cover.

Undoubtedly one of the best Italian restaurants in all of St. Louis. The new owners, Matt and Jamie, are carrying on with Roberto’s unwavering detail in not only creating a great meal but the entire dining experience. Matt and their chef Alfredo, collaborate to offer numerous special plates almost weekly, one more delicious than the next. Also, when making reservations don’t forget to ask for Shannon, as your waiter, as she’s the best and never disappoints.

Best Italian-Seafood in St Louis! Roberto brought his family recipes from Taranto, Italy where he fished the seas for a living. Amazing food and stories!

Excellent food. Service was good. Only 4 stars because a few times we asked for empty glasses and dishes to be cleared after a bit. Otherwise the staff is very friendly and fun.

I’ve been coming to Roberto’s since Roberto’s was Zanti’s on Gravois. (That’s over 20 years) Now that Matt Hines has taken over Roberto’s, it’s quite possibly better than it’s ever been. The chicken spedini and the Roberto’s filet were fantastic. Perfectly prepared and exceeded our expectations! I love that I still have a favorite Italian restaurant!

My family and I enjoyed our son's 22nd birthday dinner at Roberto's last night. We arrived promptly at 430 pm, our reservation time, and we were warmly welcomed by all. This dinning experience was very elegant, warm, friendly with cozy family feeling throughout our stay. Since it was our very first visit, we asked questions about the menu items so we could pick our entrees. Our waiter and assistants were very attentive throughout the meal. Our food was promptly brought out when ready piping hot smelling of the best Italian flavors. We loved our meals: chicken parmesan, scallops with spinach was divine, mouth watering tortellini with peas and mushrooms (so good), and oh yes the toasted ravioli appetizer was also very delicious. I choose the house dressing and I wished I picked something else as the flavor, for me, wasn't pleasing my taste palette. I'm very adventurous trying new things and every once in awhile I get it wrong. We can't wait to come back to try something different and soak up more finely prepared pasta dishes. The attention to detail was felt in every delicious pasta bite. Mr. Zanti and all staff, thank you for a very lovely evening we will always fondly remember. We felt like we were in Italy with all the perfect ambience of what it must be like to eat at a truly amazing Italian restaurant far away in our own lovely hometown of St. Louis MO. Mr. Zanti, I've read a lot of your replies to customers. I admirer your high quality standards not compromising price for quality food. We tasted your loving care and attention to detail throughout the whole meal. I love how you defend and honor your restaurants by not cowering to terrible unflattering remarks by standing up to bullies. We will recommend your restaurant to friends and family for their next special diner out on the town. Thanks to all!
