Our sever, Carley was exceptional. Best dish is the shrimp appetizer, and followed by blue crab cakes. Seafood pasta is great but a bit heavy on sauce if you’re not used to southern food. Oyster Nola is drenched in cream, so beware. Overall, excellent service and food
This place isn't your run of the mill seafood establishment. It has a unique setup with unique wall decorations. Some of the food options sound unusual but turn out to be very delicious. I tried the gator and shrimp cheesecake appetizer and gator tacos and I wasn't disappointed. The garlic parm fries were good as well. I definitely plan on going back to try some other dishes
This is New Orleans in St Louis! From the atmosphere to the food, it is like being in the French Quarter. The food was amazing. We started with some gator bites and Oyster Cardinale as appetizers. I had the Crab Encrusted Beef Medallions, my wife ate the Lobster Pasta, and my friend had the bacon wrapped scallops. We shared the bread pudding for dessert, and I have to say that it was the best bread pudding i have ever eaten. We talked about the food and the experience for the 30-minute drive home. The place was very busy, but that didn't impact the service. Our server did a great job!
A must go place I visit every time I’m in St Louis. New Orleans Cajun food in the Midwest. Right by the park and delicious affordable food. Make sure to get there for the happy hour for oysters! Quick walk from downtown area
The fried alligator is delicious!!! I will be paying the Oyster bar another visit for sure! Everything was so tasty! The enchiladas are a must try! All I can say is it’s so good! Easily, 5/5
Cant go wrong with Broadway Oyster Bar. The food is always on point, I got the Shrimp Voodoo Po’boy, Cajun tequila wings, and garlic cream pasta.
Set up a reservation because the place will get busy quick. For the most part always have a band playing. So enjoy the vibes!
Oysters, I freaking love them. The food is quite good here. Came as a group of 6 for my friend's birthday, and they hooked us up with a free bread pudding dessert, which was stellar, so good in fact another friend came back a few days later to order it to go! My entrée was the voodoo shrimp poboy and I highly recommend it. Wasn't too crowded on a Monday evening, but I know it can get quite busier at night when there's live music.
My first time visiting the Broadway Oyster Bar and wow was I delighted 😁 I ordered the Oyster Medley without the Rockefeller, a raw Gulf Oyster and a cup of seafood gumbo 🤤 I seen different reviews on raw oysters and personally, I loved it! Add some hot sauce and lemon juice and it’s 10/10 delicious 😋 Can’t wait to revisit and order nothing but raw oysters 🤗🥰😝 follow me on TikTok @ lalitaeats for more food reviews 🖤
Very unique restaurant nestled in the heart of St. Louis. Interesting and welcoming vibe.
Ordered the mussels and Seafood Gumbo. Both were tasty.
Had good drink specials! I certainly will come back.
We happened to drive by and saw the restaurant which drew us in & had to loop back a bit later! We were able to be seated fairly quickly. The interior decorations, ambience of the place, & friendliness of our waitress & some patrons made our experience to be an enjoyable one. As the previous reviews share, the food was indeed incredible. Now a favorite of ours, we will certainly be back soon!
Great place for casual dining. The comfort food menu was awesome! I ordered the red snapper encrusted with shrimp and crab meat, and the dish did not disappoint. My compliments to the chef.
We always enjoy coming here. The food is great. They enclose the patio in the fall and winter months. This is where the bands play, and it gets loud and hard to hear. So if you want a more quiet dinner, ask to be seated inside.
My boyfriend took me here for the first time. It was amazing. All around, great!! Highly suggest the shrimp voodoo tacos and the alligator sausage and shrimp cheesecake.
Great atmosphere and extremely pleased with the service. The food, however, left something to be desired. Jambalaya was great, but the muffuletta had this cheese that, in my opinion, rather ruined the dish for me. Maybe it was Provel? I will try a different dish next time.
SO DAMN GOOD! The Shrimp Cheesecake is one of the most unique but amazing meals i’ve had in a very long time! Staff was amazing aswell, really went the extra mile. Will definitely come back next time I am in town
Food was insane! The best shrimp tacos & Parmesan garlic fries I’ve ever had! The seafood pasta and crab cakes were also so delicious. We would highly recommend to anyone and can’t wait to return when we visit St. Louis again!
Walking the dog through downtown St. Louis near Ballpark Village, and was simply looking for a spot that was dog friendly to chill out and have a drink. Boy was I happy I found this place. Champion dive bar vibes, and dogs are allowed on the patio. Enjoyed some live blues music, Cajun fries and a cold beer. This is well worth a visit!
This places was AMAZING - it was on my list to go to but didn’t think we’d make it, stopped in for some lunch and had the voodoo shrimp pop boy. The shrimp were so good - just the right spice and crispness - French fries were stellar. Would definitely go back, our best meal on our trip.
If you are in Saint Louis and want a great chilled local experience - with fantastic service and food - visit! The vibe is chilled and rustic but as the sun sets nowhere better to go! Live music from 9pm to late… And they serve #Guinness!
