So so pretty interiors. Food is amazing and the staff is so good. We celebrated our friend’s birthday and the guy who sings and plays music for the Birthday person is awesome. This place is apt for great shoots too because it’s very vibrant and lively. I had burrito bowl which wasn’t on the menu so he made for me. I love every bit of my evening.

I recently ate at El Burro Loco and it was ok. My friends from philly they were craving Mexican and this was on my bookmarks list, so we went. It was a Saturday night and busy but not packed. It's a medium size place, but the parking situation in the CWE STINKS!! I don't go there often because of it. However, I braved it and got a great spot.
The service here was good and accommodating. We started with chips and salsa, chips were good, too. I got a house and watermelon margarita - I like watermelon, and so I chose it out of MANY flavors. They also have hugely sized margs here, I got the small size and it was good. And strong.
I got a combo plate for my meal - you can choose any 2 or 3 items (tacos, burritos, tamales, chalupas, enchiladas, etc) and they come with beans and rice. I got the cheese enchilada and a bean chalupa. I liked the enchilada a lot. The chalupa I think was not prepared right. It was supposed to come with several things on it, and ended up being lettuce and beans. No cheese or guac, as described. I liked the beans and rice too and it was enough for me. I also appreciated that it came with sour cream.
Overall it was a good experience! I plan on coming back soon.
Food is great. Fun atmosphere. Wait staff are very nice. They were so kind to help us lift our double stroller up and down the steps each time we visit with our two toddlers.
One of the best fajitas I've had in a while!!! My husband and I ordered Fajitas Locos for two tonight, it was delicious and let me tell you, it is enough for three people.
It hs an authentic/whimsical atmosphere, very colorful and uplifting. Even though they don't have a kids menu, it's a kids friendly environment. We are definitely coming back!
A great place to sit down and have a fun, delicious Mexican meal. Their prices are a good reflection of the quality of food here, but the atmosphere is quite noteworthy. There's always excitement and electricity in the air, making your meal both enjoyable and entertaining. Staff is incredibly friendly and outgoing.
Great atmosphere and great staff. You'll never have an empty basket of chips. A plethora of options to choose from on the menu. Perfect place to go to just relax and enjoy a quality Mexican cuisine.

Good But Overpriced. The food is good... fairly authentic. They're a bit steep on pricing. I'd go back if I had to, but it's probably not a place I'll ever crave. The thing I disliked most is their chairs. I know, that's a weird thing to write about in a review, but they're all handmade by someone who must have a pelvic problem because the seats are all angled downward in the back 10-15 degrees. After a while, my back and sacrum started hurting.
Great atmosphere and staff! With also great tasting food and drinks! Our waitress was so amazing, we had some confusion about the menu but she helped us out and impressed us on her great memory. She wrote nothing down yet had every order correct. The food tasted great and authentic to the Mexican culture. One wish though is having an option between flour and corn tortillas. They by default give you flour. Amazing place though!
This was a love from first sight. This is the best mexican food restaurant I've visited so far. The place is very bright and colorful, great cousin and moderate price.
First visit to St Louis and first Mexican food in St Louis. I have to say this food was pretty darn good. I didn’t have the pleasure of trying out any of the adult beverages, but the sweet tea with lemon was pretty good. The salsa has a nice smoky flavor to it. I’m a vegetarian, so I went with the cheese enchiladas, but my way with flour tortillas and queso on top. Chances are I’ll be back here tomorrow night for dinner again. I gave them four stars on service because my salsa bowl went empty and I was really wanting more. Didn’t see anyone I could ask for a refill until my food was brought and she also brought me more salsa. I’m a rant head on negative reviews for food taste. Everything I got was perfect.
Outstanding!! Absolutely delicious food!!! 10 stars +++. A bit loud..,but very enjoyable. Our server, Paul was spot on with recommendations for our dinner. You MUST GO to this restaurant.

Good place, good food. Nice outdoor patio to chill and eat. The tacos were good, so no complaints. I'd come.back again with friends for a livelier experience.
Just visited with friends for margaritas. They have unique margaritas that you will not see at most Mexican restaurants.
I had Tacos and a Margarita. It was very hard to understand the waitress because of her English. So it made it very hard to ordered food and drinks. She didn't ask me if I wanted salt on the rim of my Margarita. So therfore it was very salty. I was not able to drink it. Wasted money gone down the drain.

Food was okay. Not bad, but also not the best you’ll have. Atmosphere is what makes this place worthwhile. Great for sitting outside on a nice day enjoying drinks!
We went in when it was extremely busy. Food was great and the staff were attentive despite the massive crowd. Good food and quick despite everything going on. Only dock a point for service because people next to us never got served or even got menus and had to walk out, but staff was completely swamped so I sort of understand.
They always have good music. The food is always good. The servers are nice.

Everything about our lunch date at El Burro Loco was perfect. We walked in for an early lunch right as they opened on a Tuesday morning, we were the first ones in the door. We were seated immediately and enjoyed the first fresh chips and salsa of the day.
Our meals were impeccable. I don't think I've ever tasted more flavor in one dish at a Mexican restaurant. I enjoyed the Pollo Con Chorizo. The sausage was so rich in flavor, combined with perfectly grilled chicken and drool-worthy queso. I finished my whole plate, which I never do at a Mexican restaurant. My husband ordered the chicken chimichanga with shrimp on top. Both of our dishes came with refried beans, rice, and toppings.
My margarita's flavor could have been better. I wish I ordered the pina coloda like my husband did. And the salsa isn't the best I've ever had. These aren't complaints by any means, I just expected the best of the best after trying my main dish.
Our server was so kind and quick with refills and asking how she could make our experience better.
I've visited this restaurant quite a few times and I've never been disappointed. This is a great spot for family, a first date, lunch break or when you want to enjoy alone time. The patrons are friendly, I sit at the bar most of the time. Lol.
The drinks are strong and tasty, the food is always fresh hot and well seasoned. If there's an issue with your meal, they have no problem fixing it immediately. The waiters/waitresses are great. Sometimes they get a bit busy so you may feel slightly overlooked but they try their best to check on you.
All in all it's a great spot to visit and you won't be disappointed.
The Hispanic culture is here and it is a must experience. Everything from graphically decorated walls to the cultural flavors embedded into the dishes served. The Servers are extremely polite and speedy with greet and seat. The drinks are different and unique unlike anything I have ever seen. Flavor was different for my partner and I, but we loved it.
Went mid day on Sunday. They were a little busy but the service was on point. We got a table pretty fast. The salsa and chips were on point. The chips were warm which made them even better. We placed our order for our drinks. Drinks were brought quickly. Our food order was taken soon after. We got our food fast. It was very tasty and the portions were big.
Loved our servers and the atmosphere. Will definitely go back again.
