This place is absolutely phenomenal! By far my favorite place to eat, drink and have fun in STL! Atmosphere is awesome, food is incomparable, and the drink selection is epic. You must try everything on their menu. All of it is exceptional! Go here right now! Ohhh and they're open late til 3am I believe!

I almost forget there are other restaurants in stl bc these sandwiches are so good. Highly recommend the Mississippi Nights Club and their specials are always to die for!

I should begin my review by saying my friends and I visited Gramophone twice in two weeks. The sandwiches are phenomenal, the craft beer selection is extensive, and the laid back vibe and cozy patio really top it off.

Went to go check this place out during a 4 Hands tap takeover and didn't leave disappointed. From the sandwiches loaded up with all the fixin's to a great selection of beers on tap, it's a win-win! Loved the atmosphere and brought the kids so they were occupied playing some old school video games and pinball.

Amazing sandwiches, very affordable, and excellent eclectic live music. I have never gone wrong with one of the Portobello or salmon sandwiches.

Seriously the best sandwiches ANYWHERE. Plus, no matter how busy they are, they seem to get drinks and food or relatively quickly.

Never had a bad sandwich! The Elvis is always a go to and the specials are always on point. You've gotta do halfs so you can try multiple kinds!

The Glazed and Confused, a meatball burger patty, on a glazed donut, with an egg, and cherry jalapeño BBQ sauce. *drool* You guys could use a burger on the menu. Just saying.

We got sandwiches it was our first time eating here. The food was delicious. It's a casual bar that is a great place to eat. Service was fast and friendly. Really nice atmosphere and great art work on the walls. We will definitely be back.

This is more like a dive bar type of vibe, with absolutely delicious sandwiches. I got the Mexican street corn which left a bit to be desired but was still great - it wasn’t authentic but it was great for a side. Sandwiches had a good portion of meats, were warm and the bread was a perfect mixture of crunchy and soft. Obviously the beer and liquor selection here is great. To add to that, their local draft selection was actually quite impressive. Highly recommend to visit here if you’re looking for a Saint Louis gem and are on a budget.

I've heard incredible things about The Gramophone from several unrelated people over the last few years and finally gave it a shot. I asked the guy at the counter what sandwich is closest to an Italian sub and he recommended the Yogi. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't "the best sandwich I've ever had" (which is what the hype led me to believe it would be). My husband got the Spicy Mac Daddy and it gave him a stomach ache afterward. He wasn't totally pleased, but that has more to do with regretting getting a sandwich with mac n' cheese on it than the flavor itself. And his uncle got the special of the day- Kimchi BBQ Pork, he did enjoy that. The atmosphere is fun and the neighborhood is peak. We arrived about 11:15 and beat the lunch rush, the place was packed as we were leaving.

This is by far one of the best sandwiches that I’ve ever had! It was so cheesy, delicious and just a really good sandwich! The jalapeño soup was absolutely delicious as well- no complaints!

Went here for the sandwiches I heard about. We had the Boy Howdee and the Big Willie's Meatball sandwiches. OMG, they were so good. I also liked the different craft beers. They have locals and nationals, different flavors, and styles. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. We will be back. Went back again today. We had the Havana and the Salmon sandwiches. They were SO good. Also had the Mac n cheese for a side. Yummy.

Went here on a Friday night, was recommended by a friend for the sandwiches, I was not aware it was a bar, I thought it was a restaurant, I had my 17 yr old son with me, a guy, Who I believe may have been the owner or running things at the time, told me he couldn't be there. I feel he was rude about it, as if I knew and was getting an attitude, very unpleasant! I almost changed my mind about ordering but I went ahead and ordered the seafood sandwich and mac and cheese with the red hot riplets this may be the best sandwich I ever sank my tootheses into! And the mac and cheese was delicious! I will be back to try every sandwich on the menu lol

I shared both the 'When Pigs Fly' and the loaded mashed potatoes with my partner. We really enjoyed both and are definitely looking forward to trying more of these delicious sandwiches again soon because, honestly, they all sound amazing.

Stopped by on a busy Sunday for a pick up. While we were shorted one sandwich, they responded quickly to either remake or refund. My BBBLT was stuffed full with bacon on delicious sourdough with just a hint of spice from the mayo. The Big Willie's Meatball had large, tasty meatballs in a good marinara on garlicky bread. Yummy!

Excellent food! If you cannot find a sandwich you like here, then it doesn't exist! A huge selection and variety of delicious sandwiches, every one I've tried has been tasty, hot and loaded with good stuff. The Mac and cheese side is incredible as well. My only reason for not giving it a solid 5 is the service. You have to go to the counter/bar to order food and drinks, there is no wait staff. I find this annoying, especially when they are very busy (which is most times) because its a small place and it can take a long time in line. They do prep the food promptly and bring it out to you, so that's good. I still highly recommend though.

I’m here in St. Louis for a quick trip and decided to hop into Gramophone for lunch. I expected a quick and simple sandwich and ended up having one of the best sandwiches ever. I shouldn’t have been so surprised due to the menu being mainly sandwich entrees but the results are what matters. Come here for the chill vibes and great sandwich options!
