I'm giving this place 4/5 stars. My wife ordered a burrito bowl, and asked for no pico de gallo, sub sour cream. They added pico and forgot sour cream, and another person in line had to go back for the same thing. The chips were almost stale.
Aside from those two things there really isn’t anything to complain about. It’s a self serve Tex-mex style. Order at counter and wait for name to be called. The portions are decent, seemed a lot to me like a Chipotle or Qdoba. Overall good experience. Indoor and outdoor seating, extra parking in back. Kid friendly.
Surprised that I haven't paid this place a visit before! The service was fast and very friendly. The food was good and with decent sized portions. The menu is diverse and there are plenty of vegetarian options. Right now you can dine outside, inside, or go to the drive through. The ambience is very inviting with oldies music on the overhead speakers. Bathrooms were clean. This would also be a great place to bring kids. I will definitely return.
Good food and great customer service!
We ordered online and they made a mistake and added chicken to one of the Vegan items we ordered.
I drove back and Andy went above and beyond to make it right.
He really made sure I was completely satisfied and added more stuff I did not asked for.
The food was really good!

Nachomama's is a St. Louis classic at this point. The food is always good, and the staff is always friendly. I've been eating here for nearly three decades and would recommend their Tex-Mex to friends and family. Crunchy taco platter with beans and rice and a side of chips and salsa for the win!
What a fantastic family owned place. I had the pork fajitas, which was amazingly flavorful. A fantastic smokey taste along with the usual beans, rice, and onions. Also had the chips, queso and salsa. Really can't ask for very much more. It's not beautiful food, but it's delicious!
I know the name can put some people off. It doesn't matter because this place is great. This restaurant took over an old Popeyes many many years ago and decorated in a really fun way.
Nachomamas is a great casual place to get some good Mexican food and margaritas. They serve chips and a terracotta pot and the handmade guacamole is really good. They have a nice outside seating area too.
I hope you enjoy this neighborhood favorite.
Good food, tacos were just a little too hot. Customer should be the one to spice up the heat on the tacos themselves. The tamale was just right however. Have loved this place since it was a dive with mismatched tables when it looked like a hole in the wall spot.

I've been going since the second week they were open. At least several times during the year. More often when I was younger and lived closer. I've come to know the owners, but see them less nowadays, as the business has developed and thrived. My family loves their food, as do I.
Been going to this restaurant since mid 90s and food taste the same! Absolutely delicious everytime I go! Nowhere else can compare!
Got a dinner sized beef burrito with queso and a shrimp grande nacho.
The burrito was really good. The tortillas are delicious. My wife complained that the toppings on the nachos were sparse and not very evenly distributed.
The drive-thru at 5:00p on a Saturday was a little messy, too. They have three lanes – two for drive-thru and one for curbside. They also have an employee with a tablet out there taking orders. The employee was getting flustered when people would pull into each of the two drive-thru lines, even though they’re just following instructions. It worked out fine in the end, but it was just a little odd to have the guy complaining to me about the way people were pulling up.
Love the food here, and the service is always great. We usually drive through with our dogs and they love getting treats.
The food here is really good. Best guac in town-- fresh and perfectly mixed. Love the chicken enchiladas. Prices are a bit high for eating with disposable plates/utensils. Most workers are friendlier than others.
I will say texmex isn't usually my favorite but the burrito was quite good with all the right flavors coming together the right way.
Been coming here since the 90s. Love this place. Will never hold the high turnover employees against a small business like this. My advice to people who have a less than stellar experience with a cashier & rush to emote about it through a review, get over yourself. We need local restaurants like this to make our city great.
