First time coming here after hearing many great things about. We will definitely be back!!
The Rodeo omelet was SMOTHERED with their amazing chili and the hash browns were perfection. And to top it off that great old timey diner coffee, could drink 5+ cups.
We were visiting from indiana… decided to stop for breakfast. It was so good, we came back several hours later for lunch. The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious!!! Highly recommend
Good food! You can't go wrong with the menu! Everything is great! The staff could be a little more friendly and polite with customers.
Excellent food, exactly what you would expect from an establishment like this! The service is outstanding, everyone helping to get us what we needed. The atmosphere is wonderful. The staff seemed to really enjoy their work. Whenever you go to a place like this and they have a dish named the "Slinger or the Hangover" well....you just have to try it. You will not be disappointed. 5⭐ Prices are right! Good job by all!
The staff is always so kind and helpful. Food is always great! The biscuits and gravy okay with some salt, but everything else is amazing! Love the bacon.
Food always good. Service is great. Can't go wrong here with any meal. We're long time fans.
This place actually rocks bud. Decent pricing and straight forward good food. Cash only.
Rating 4 out 5.
Biscuits sucked. It's like they were barely cooked. They had no crustiness liked they were baked. Gravy was good though. Staff was excellent servers but at times I wondered if they were married or something because they were a bit nasty to each other especially then means attitude toward the woman. He acted like she was stupid.
Great diner. CASH ONLY. Atm available.
Fast and solid service with even faster food.
Breakfast is served all day and the coffee is hot.
Booths are small for those over 6ft but manageable.
We really enjoyed our breakfast and will be back when we travel 66 again.
Portion sizes were good and price appropriate.
Good old fashion diner food. I used to order the "off the menu -the blond slinger," which is like the regular slinger (hash browns, hamburger patty, 2 eggs, with chili in top) but instead of chili, they use white gravy.
Unless you have a waitress who's been there a long time, you're probably just better telling them how you want it. I went in during the day and she had no idea what I was trying to order.
Now they have "the Hoosier," which is like the blond slinger, but with sausage patties. That's a winner.
Good old fashioned food that you grew up eating in the '70s and 80s! Does not taste cookie cutter at all.. great conversation with the staff. A fun place to interact
Went alone on a Saturday afternoon. There were no seats open but the quick service meant it wasn’t long before I had a place to sit. I had been recommended the “Slinger” by a friend. Crispy hash brown potatoes topped with a hamburger patty, 2 eggs (I had over medium), and a delicious meaty chili with cheese, onions, jalapeños and two slices of toast. The meal was absolutely delicious, filling, wholesome, and homey. The service was friendly and quick, and the retro design and business practices (such as cash only) added a nice touch to the whole experience.
Will definitely be returning. Looking forward to 24 hours again!
Tl;dr: quick, friendly, delicious, filling.
I had a double Cheeseburger and Fries. Service was outstanding for was good and quick. Could do with better seating. But all and all very good place to eat and the price is very good.
Old school food prepared properly. It's not gourmet, it's comfort food. Won awards for best dinner in the area.
Our visit there was great. We both ordered the burger on rye bread. A little greasy or buttery but very good with fries. Go there often. They are open 24 seven.
Didn't have a hangover but enjoyed the Hangover breakfast this morning. Hot, tasty and smothered in gravy. Amazing! Most of the workers super nice and bend over backwards. Cash only.
