We loved the pizzas here. We had the deluxe and the sweet fire (a new special made with wing sauce). Both were very flavorful, the cracker crust and cheese is so good. St. Louis-style pizza may become my new favorite. We also tried their toasted Ravioli, I liked it more than the locations we had on the Hill. They were crispy and had a good mix of flavor in the filling. The staff was very helpful as we tried to decide what to eat. The location is also nice right next to Forest Park, but that means it can be busy as well.
Great staple of St. Louis. We are from out of town and I know some people might look down on this place but it was so great and the lunch specials are amazing. Three pizza’s, two salads, cheese bread, toasted raviolis and three sodas for $40. We ate like kings! Plus it was all delicious!
Everyone working was kicking butt and working so hard during a busy time of the day. The service was great - from the young lady who took our order, the lady bringing the food out for everyone, employees bussing and cleaning tables, kitchen staff keeping up (they told us 20-25 minutes for pizza and they were out in 15). Great job!
The location is right outside the entrance to the zoo so we were able to fuel up before heading in there. Easy to navigate.
Best pizza ever. Atmosphere just a regular old pizza joint..fine by me! We are from out of town. Here for 4 days, had lunch today and fully intend on having dinner tomorrow night. Rather good size menu. Pizzas, sandwiches, salads, appetizers. AWESOME PLACE
**update **stayed in St. Louis 4 days ate there 3 times!
Was told by someone this pizza was overrated and not good. Well, if this overrated, I would love to see what their version of a good pizza is because I absolutely loved this place. So much so, I ate here three times in 5 days on a business trip. The pizza that kept me coming back was the sweet heat pizza. Think the ingredients all complimented each other on the fluffy thin crust pizza. Would highly recommend.
Stopped by during a brief visit to St. Louis. Wanted to try St. Louis style pizza and this place simply delivered it. Had half deluxe and half all meat pizza with toasted ravioli & wings. Foods were all jackpot!
My first ever visit to an Imo's. Great experience!
Friendly staff, authentic atmosphere, and delicious food.
Best Imos in town hands down. Always delivers consistent service and food regardless of time or day 😋
We heard about St Louis pizza and decided to try out Imo’s since we were visiting close by. The pizza is very good. Thin cracker like crust and fresh toppings. Fast service. The toasted ravioli was a hit with our toddler as well. We got a 16” half and half meat and vegetable pizza. If we’re down in St Louis I’m sure we’ll be back to one of the many Imo’s!
We came in from Dallas he is from St.Louis so it was only right we stop and enjoy a childhood favorite! Best pizza and fried Ravioli still to this day. ☺️
Can't have a visit to St. Louis without a visit to Imo's. The cheese (provel) has a gooey consistency that you'll either love or hate, but either way you have to try it! This location was spacious, clean, and the staff were attentive. I was very happy with my experience here, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the roasted ravioli too!
Very nice clean place just a few blocks down from Hampton inn. Had pizza and spaghetti both very good. Was very impressed with the local specialty of fried ravioli. I've had it before at a different restaurant and was not impressed but wanted to try it once more. Very glad I did, this place makes it great and the sauce that came with it made it fabulous.
I tried to find the year in which location opened...but I do know that's it's historic. The building is beautiful and at an extremely convenient location, right off the highway.
I was a little nervous because there were LOTS of people waiting for their food (take-out). Having said that, it took no time at all to order our food, and no time at all for the food to come to our table! Major kudos for that. They run a smooth operation.
Second, the staff was so accommodating and friendly.
Okay time for the food...it's Imo's. The quality is consistent and wonderful no matter which location. I absolutely adore their food. People either love or hate StL style pizza, and I am definitely in the former category. Pizza is wonderful, their sweet and tangy wing sauce is top notch. Their house Italian dressing is the best I've EVER had. Five stars all around.
Our cashier Ray was actually a rat of sunshine, she was patient with our difficult order, helped us use our coupons and had a beautiful sense of humor. The food was fresh and hot and the ambience has always been the best. I always sit there and imagine what my day would be been like at the 1904 World Fair. Thanks Imo's you contributed to a wonderful date night after a magnificent family day. You're greatly appreciated 💯💕
being from houston, i crave and miss the pizza and ravioli from st.louis. imus was available it seemed, everywhere in st.louis.
miss it. love it.
When in St. Louis, Imo's Pizza should be on your list of places to eat. It is delicious and inexpensive (if you are serving in the military and have proof of ID, they will give you an extremely generous 50% discount).
We have eaten at the OG location where it all began and LOVED every single bite of our toasted ravioli (a St. Louis classic) and the cheese pizza. No fancy toppings, it is so good and you get a good idea of their unique signature cheese blend.
Highly recommend this place if you want to taste authentic St. Louis style food.
Did some work in the old neighborhood near the hill and finished around dinner time. IMOS!! For some unexplained reason the Hampton/40 Imos just has something that makes it a cut above the county restaurants. Everyone agrees that it is better, but can't narrow it down to what. Our order was ready quickly and the staff was very pleasant. Worth the 30 minute drive back west.
