Yay! I'm a fan! My coworker fond this place from twitter last week and recommended us to try this place. Food was really good, first time try Taiwanese food! Highly recommend!

Awesome. Authentic. Great service. Highly recommend the sticky rice with pork blood as a starter, then salt & pepper shrimp for main course.

The food was amazing! We ordered a little bit of everything. We had the soft buns with pork belly, the sizzling beef, spicy chicken and chitterlings. All was very flavorful and reasonably priced. The service was excellent. We will be definitely returning for more!

We never try new things, but a review caught my eye. It was so amazing that we will drive all the way from South County! So worth it.

Hands down best Asian food, price, and taste. Wish they delivered to me.

The beef noodle soup, pork buns and cold appetizers tasted flavorful and authentic, and the price was reasonable at this clean and modern Taiwanese restaurant. The line was long but the staff moved things along pretty quickly with great service.

I've been here several times and have never been disappointed. No great food and a real off the beaten path gem.

WOW!!! First visit here was a winner! Went for Sunday lunch and it was crazy good. It's a hidden gem in U City, in an older shopping center at Olive and McKnight. Very simple, but tidy, decor. But the food...just wow. I tried the pork bun street and it was rich and tasty. I had to pull out a few cilantro leaves, but that's my issue. I'll see if they can leave them out next time, but definitely try these. The menu was overwhelming with the selection, that's a good thing in my book. Did family style with my dear wife, she ordered shrimp noodles stir fry and I had the spicy chili chicken. Both dishes were very fresh and flavored well. I will be back to try the basil clams. Give them a try for sure.

Authentic Taiwanese food (trust me, I'm Taiwanese)! The restaurant is small and no frills, but it is clean and the prices are reasonable. Specials are listed on the wall - in Chinese! So don't be afraid to ask questions and try something new! Go for lunch for faster service. Note: the restaurant is not visible from Olive.

Amazing food for a great price. We started with the pork belly bao which were phenomenal. From there we shared several of the wok dishes. We had the sizzling beef, beef with garlic stem, crispy chicken, eggplant and traditional stir fry. The beef with garlic stem was my favorite, but it was all excellent. If you're looking for some great wok dishes, this is your spot. We had some Taiwan Beers to wash it all down.

They offer very authentic Taiwanese dishes. Some of them is just okay but some is above my expectation. Consider the ingredients they can get here in the States, I want to say there are doing pretty good. Owner or manager is very polite and very attentive, very typical Taiwanese host hospitality, I definitely give him a thumb up. Keep up all the good work, Taike!

Beautiful restaurant! We had the dry marinated tofu, steamed and seasoned edamame, and meatball soup. It was all delicious! Can't wait to come back for the Hot Pot!

I have dined in and ordered through DoorDash. This restaurant consistency provides fresh, flavorful, and authentic food. I particularly enjoy the Triple Shredded Stir Fry, Pineapple Fried Shrimp, Three Cup Chicken, and the Meatball Soup. Tonight I tried the Wuxi Style Ribs for the first time and they were delicious! Close your eyes and point at the menu - you can’t go wrong.

Really nice place for dinner. Lots of options on the menu, and very different than any other restaurant I have eaten at (I have never eaten Taiwanese food before). The hot tea was great. Nice atmosphere. Fairly busy at 4:45 on a Sunday night - no tables available. We had to sit at the bar. But it was still very good.

Visiting from out of town and our Taiwanese friends said this is a must have when in St Louis. Was not disappointed! Felt like I was transported back to Taiwan. We ordered braised pork, popcorn chicken, chitterlings, meatball soup…everything was so so good. Love that they had Taiwanese news playing too.

I just got takeout from here, but I wish I had eaten at the restaurant. The food was so good, and if you've been to Taiwan or lived there, you'll know it's spot on! I wish I lived here so I could come back every week!

This was one of the best new restaurants I have been to in a while. We came an hour before close (I hate being that guy) but the staff was friendly and the food was AMAZING! My partner got some delicious beef noodle soup and I got the sizzling beef tenderloin. The beef was so tender and the sizzling sauce was to die for. On the street snack menu, we got the rice cake with I thought was fine and my partner loved and lastly, my favorite thing was the gua boa. Oh. My. God. I would do anything for a pile of those. I think they might be my new favorite food. (Warning!!! Lots of cilantro) please stop by if you have the chance.

Loved ordering off the regular menu but their shabu shabu/hotpot needs just a little more meat for costing $17.99. I don’t have pictures from that visit unfortunately. I’m not a fan of the shacha sauce due to it’s fishy flavor. I love seafood but this is one of very few flavors I’m personally not a fan of. I got the non-spicy broth and it was ok but I think could have used just a little more flavor as it was very subtle. We make hotpot at home and have had it in Taiwan and other local places but everyone does it their own way. The variety of mushrooms and etc. were great though and their staff refill the broth for you as often as needed which is great. We got an order of the Taiwanese Sausage Fried Rice to go and it was delicious. We have been wanting to eat it every day since!! I have to give them 5 stars for awesome service, and friendly staff and the food is really good. See my previous visit details below. We initiated my first visit because I had a hankering for Taiwanese sausage. I first tried Taiwanese sausage in Taiwan shortly before the pandemic so it had been over a year since I had it. I have been hesitant to buy it in stores here in fear of missing the same delicious, sweet flavor and peculiar texture. So I opted for the Taiwanese Sausage Platter as pictured. My husband got the beef noodle which is a favorite of his to get in Taiwan as well and we shared a side of marinated eggs which resembled tea eggs. I love to make tea eggs but theirs are served with fresh green onions and a brown sauce that’s really good. I tried the beef noodle and the broth was delicious, beef was tender, and noodles cooked perfectly. Let me get back to my Taiwanese Sausage Platter though... it really satisfied my cravings and because of that we went back exactly a week later. It came out hot and everything was fresh and I loved the variety that it came with. There was an older gentleman that made a point to chat with us when we had hotpot and was so nice. We really enjoyed that about the second visit. Bottom line is; great staff, delicious and authentic Taiwanese dishes. Like others mentioned, food comes out fast!! We are going back again very soon! We can’t wait to try more dishes. Notable edit as of November 2023: They have high chairs but there was no baby changing station in the ladies room. This was unfortunate as I had to change my daughter’s soiled diaper on the bathroom floor. Luckily I had a travel changing mat to put down but it was tough. I have RA so it was really difficult and we weren’t in a situation where we could wait to change her elsewhere. Also the food was different this time. We got some of our usual dishes (beef noodle and Taiwanese sausage platter) and the broth was different and the tofu on the platter was much spicier than all the other times we have gone. It was still delicious, just unexpected.

Unique authentic Taiwanese food, not the standard Americaized versions of Chinese found elsewhere. Food comes out quickly and always very fresh. Large selection for vegetarians and all clearly marked on menu. If you like tofu and ginger don't miss the Three Cup Tofu
