This is an absolute vibe. Want some good Mexican and cheap margs, this has got to be the place. I was pleasantly surprised with this place and will surely be back!
This was our first time going there. We had just left the zoo, and we were all pretty hungry so, I looked up places to eat around the area and this is where we landed. We came long after the lunch rush, and before the dinner rush, so it was pretty quiet and relaxed.
This is some of the best Mexican food we've ever had. I ordered two beef chimichangas and was not disappointed. The servings are large, so we ended up with leftovers, but no complaints!
The waitress was very nice and she kept busy with checking on us and handling refills and everything. She didn't forget about us like we've experienced in other restaurants in the past.
It's a bit of a drive for us, but we will keep Amigo Joe's on our list of places to visit again!
Really amazing food! The place is nice and the food is great. The night I was there, they were a little short staffed, so the service was a little slower for getting our margaritas refilled as fast I would like, but it was understandable.
Carnitas tacos 🌮 and shredded beef burrito 🌯 were yummy. 😋 Not my favorite rice, but the beans were good. The $2.50 Tuesday margaritas 🍹 had us drinking a few too many. 😄 And as always, we enjoyed the chips and salsa.
Best Mexican restaurant around. When we go my fiancé and I also get the 2 chimichangas entrée and a frozen margaritas. The kid opted for the super burrito and she said it was delicious. This is definitely our go to spot. Excellent staff as well.
I have been going to AJ"S for several now. Sonja is absolutely amazing and so sweet. All food is good but the pressure cooked chicken is fire!!! The ultimate margaritas are phenomenal. Love everyone there!!!
Caitlyn served us and was so kind & helpful! She warned us the fried chicken took a bit longer and while we waited, made sure our drinks were constantly filled and we always had some chips and salsa. Great service!
Wanted to finally leave a review . Went here again tonight , been going for a while , this place has some amazing fried chicken . They are always courteous and prompt . Zack was very patient tonight and was very kind and staff and management do a great job. If you ever go , try the fried chicken they have two choices if you like spicy food the habanero fried chicken is great as well .We will be back and would definitely recommend to anyone and have recommended others here as well. Great atmosphere. Great food . Also usually they have local sports on with a view of a tv pretty much everywhere . Thank you again. God Bless.

This is now one of my favorite places. the prices and service are amazing and it truly is the best fried chicken I have ever had. my brother tried it and literally shed a tear its THAT good!!! will be frequenting this place now.
We picked up half chicken dinners for lunch. The restaurant is very visual with colorful decor and cool lighting, with a nice outdoor area as well. The chicken is fantastic. Light habanero breading and a super tender bird make you want more even after a big and affordable meal. Pick up or dine in, you cant lose.
For awhile a friend of mine has been telling me to go to Amigo Joe's, he's always boasted about the food and margs but who doesn't brag about their favorite Mexican restaurant? He was right! We've been 3 times in 3 weeks. Inside or on the patio you'll receive fast, accommodating and all around great service. I got the seafood burrito and it was amazing, large shrimp and fat peices of lobster bathed in queso and verde sauce. We got a pitcher of frozen watermelon margaritas and they were strong. Also we couldn't finish and they let me take the rest to go. Bill came out to 50 dollars for 2 adult meals a kids plate and margs which is crazy cheap. I recommend this to anyone who wants a great meal, great drink and great service.
What a fun place to eat great Mexican food. Lots of atmosphere. Very clean and outside dining available. Meal was delicious. Our waitress Tasha was fun and fantastic !
This food is good. The staff is very nice and helpful. It's a cool relaxed atmosphere. It's a little far from where I live but it's a good drive when I need to unwind and have a good meal. I like the drink specials as well.

If we had more stars available, we would give them more! Fantastic food, outstanding prices, cool & chill atmosphere with super great margaritas!!! Our client recommended this place and we all went there and had GREAT time. We had a super nice & friendly server and enjoyed ourselves while sitting outside with food & lots of drinks. Thank you!
This is a local Mexican restaurant we go to. The wife likes the place a bunch. I am ehh about it. Food is pretty good so I still go. Just can’t get excited about Mexican Restaurants. Good news is that I think 15 have opened in the last two years on Hampton. We will continue to go to Amigo Joes when it is what we crave.
