I and family have eaten here about 10 times now, we live in the area. Have eaten at the location, but mostly order to go now. The food has always been top notch (curry duck a favorite), the people that work there are very pleasant. They are a welcome addition to the area, and I hope they are here for years to come.

So happy we found this place. Stir fry ginger is my favorite. Perfect lunch destination -- quick, clean, reasonably priced, friendly, and best of all delicious.

Don't let the size of the restaurant fool you. They have delicious, authentic food. I'm obsessed with the Tom Yum Noodle soup.

My wife and I visited for the first time tonight, on the recommendation from another Facebook friend. I had the Pad Thai, and my wife had the red curry. Both dishes were perfectly presented, and tasted wonderful! The service was very friendly. We will definitely be going back soon!

Cozy restaurant. Food made to order and with that, it did not come out at the same time. We ordered Thai Rama, pad Thai and pineapple fried rice. Everything was extremely flavorful and delicious. Great "hole in the wall" for a quick lunch.

Oh. My. Gosh. Everything was THE BEST THAI experience I’ve EVER had. I’ve never left the USA so… but WOW‼️‼️‼️ The crab Rangoon sauce is not the red crud, it’s the real deal. The stir fried ginger, I think it was, was phenomenal! ALL the food and the boboa ice coffee was so excellent, my dear friend was slurping the bottom of the cup; one of her pet peeves. But she was slurping! Said as soon as she got the first drink of that, she knew we were at a fabulous place. This is our go to Thai restaurant from here on out. We request if the cook ever leaves here, we are given the opportunity to follow them. For real❣️😋

Thai orchid is so delicious! I love the curry. Don't get it too spicy tho lol like a 1 or 2. This was my favorite restaurant when I lived in South county and still is!

My wife and I were in the area and stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered the beef jerky appetizer which came with a spicy dip that seemed like it was sriracha mixed with something else. Whatever it was, it was good! For our entrees, we ordered Green Curry and Spicy Basil. Both were solid dishes and there wasn't anything that really set them apart from other Thai places. The service was also amazing. We will definitely be back to try some of their more unique dishes and overall a good place to stop by for some staple thai food!

If you are yearning for authentic Thai food, come to this place. The restaurant is not as fancy as other establishments, but you will be compensated by flavorful dishes served by a friendly waitress.

Thai Orchid will never disappoint! The sweet service was so genuine. The food was tremendous and on point; exactly how we ordered it. We will ALWAYS spend WAY more than we should but leave full and happy every time.

I enjoy the food here a lot, but as others have said, the small portions coupled with the raise in prices have made it quite expensive. If bigger portions were offered, then it would be wonderful, but otherwise it's quite pricey.

Had the musaman curry with vegetables. They were able to make it without fish sauce or shrimp paste so vegan friendly! Awesome service here. Neat and clean inside.

This unassuming Thai restaurant is a gem hidden in plain sight. Don't let the strip center location fool you. We've tried several Thai places throughout the Metro, who have glitz and dark woods to woe you in ... but never once have we found ourselves craving their food. Thai Orchid is in an understated location across from Mehlville High School (Go Panthers!), that I've/we've driven past hundreds of times. Until we stopped on a whim three years ago it blended into the commercial scenery of South County. Now? Whenever we're running errands and looking for an amazing curry we stop in. Great service. Amazing owners. And food that will have you craving another taste!

This is, hands down, my favorite Thai restaurant in St. Louis. The curries (especially the yellow curry) are excellent and flavorful. Also, opt for the mango and sticky rice when it’s in season. A nice, family-owned and operated local business!
