I love the tuna sandwiches and the brownies are to die for...
Loved the Mayan Mocha--took me back to years ago when I first had on in San Diego. Great addition to the menu!
This is a very cool coffee shop/cafe in an old church.
I love Crave the food is good but some are unusal. I just had the quona chicken wrap...tasty. This is the first quaint coffee house I have seen in Saint Louis.
I am partical though because in 1942 I was baptised there and lived 3 doors away. Love this
Went to Crave for the first time over the weekend and was impressed with the quality, taste and selections. Great mandarin salad with salmon. We'll be back!
I absolutely love this place. The vibe in this old church is so cool. Great chill music. The service was excellent. My vanilla latte was probably the best I have ever had…..seriously. It was so smooth and tasty. I also had the chorizo breakfast sandwich and it was so good. I wish I didn’t have to leave town cause I want to come back.
Nice place! Lots of students of course. Has outdoor seating as well. My chicken sandwich was delicious as well as my white mocha.
The atmosphere was fantastic, and I enjoyed the fact that this is a church that opens itself up throughout the week for this great coffee shop. Sandwichs were good.
Warm, welcoming atmosphere, great food, and delicious coffee.
Ample seating. Parking lot parking. Great location.
Gluten-free bread available.
This unique coffeehouse was once an old church. Now the baristas serve up heavenly cups of coffee to get you ready for what the day brings. My cup of Holy Brew paired well with my avocado toast with tomatoes and goat cheese. Can I get an amen from the choir?!!!
Wow what a beautiful coffee shop is the first thing I noticed when we walked in. The staff were super friendly and quickly got us taken care of. I had their special which was Blueberry Cheesecake Latte and it was phenomenal and not overly sweet.
We were traveling through STL and this local coffee shop was a short detour: ample parking (we were driving full size pickup truck-college student drop off), great handmade espresso drinks and our kid enjoyed a local soda. Quiet on a Saturday morning before the University starts up again. Would definitely stop in again when driving through!

Really great coffee here. It's not too over the top like some of the crazy chain coffee joints. Very mellow vibe here, and wide open space to sit and have a more private conversation with someone. The staff is extremely nice and knowledgeable about the products they offer. The patrons here are really all slu students and faculty, so it's a good mix of people. Overall I give 5 stars and will recommend to my friends and colleagues.
Very cool coffee shop on college campus. The oat milk latte was top notch and the veggie wrap was great as well. I really enjoyed Crave as a brief stop on a road trip and would recommend to others!
Amazing coffee. This place has a nice lounge area to chill and relax too! Love the coffee here. Highly recommend coming here.
Loved the vibe, warm and welcoming, coffee was amazing, but my new fave are the sugar cookies!!!
Drinking great coffee out of a real, big mug in an incredible old-converted-church ambiance. Stuff to eat you expect at a coffee shops including a great lunch menu and gelato!
Very relaxing atmosphere in a restored building near St. Louis university. Great coffee and breakfast sandwich love this place. I will be back!!!
This place is beautiful, sweet and convenient. It’s Kaldi’s coffee products, coffee specials that rotate monthly and an array of breakfast, lunch, and non-coffee beverage options. Lately I have been grabbing oatmeal (includes fruit, maca powder, hemp seeds and pecans) and an iced latte. I see lots of students ordering frappes and bagels, too. Their lunch menu starts at 11am. Another plus — they have 20oz coffees. The staff are all helpful and kind but occasionally there is only one person working, but I am never in a rush so it doesn’t bother me.
A note about accessibility — the front door of the church/cafe has stairs, but there is a side door that leads to the patio. I believe you would be able to navigate a stroller or wheelchair using that entrance. There is lots of room inside and outside to have a seat and enjoy your drink, your book, or use the WiFi to study.
This feels like having our own secret Kaldi location. I’m really grateful they’re here. The website says they are non-profit and while I don’t 100% understand how that impacts their model, I hopeful I am putting my daily coffee habit to good use.
I think Seth makes a good point that it is housed in a church, there is religious imagery and Christian content present inside. I see why people may want to know this ahead of time to determine their own comfort level before proceeding.
Cute coffee shop, right on SLU campus. Decent coffee and their chipotle sauce is awesome. There's plenty of space to sit and work. Staff is friendly and welcoming, and they pay attention to my order every time. Plus they have great benefits through square if you're using your credit cards. They send me so many coupons that every time I go now I pretty much get a discount.
Crave STL is one of the best perks that came with my new role that allows me to work at home. Their coffee and food are great, delicious, and healthy (in many cases). The team is always welcoming and friendly, and the space is often abuzz with students, professionals, and neighbors. Parking can be tricky sometimes, but there is a parking lot behind the shop (access via the alley that runs directly adjacent to the south side of the building). They have a good rewards program that helps to keep me coming back again, as well. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area, and see what makes this a great spot.
