EVERYTHING IS AWESOME CURRY GOAT IS MY FAVOURITE . GO GET YOU SOME ASAP
Upon my inaugural visit to the Caribbean Delight establishment nestled in the vibrant yet challenging environs of Saint Louis's south side, I embarked upon a culinary journey that one might say was as audacious as it was delectable. The moment my palate encountered their rendition of jerk chicken, a symphony of flavors enveloped my senses with a crescendo of smoky warmth, punctuated by a harmonious blend of spices that danced upon my tongue.
The succulent meat (mind the bones), painstakingly imbued with the essence of allspice, scotch bonnet peppers, and thyme, transported me to the sun-soaked shores of the islands.
Though the geographical context added a certain frisson to the experience, the culinary prowess of Caribbean Delight proved triumphant, transcending the locale and bestowing upon my discerning palate a remarkable gustatory voyage.
Delicious pineapple soda as well! Bravo Caribbean Delight! ❤️🔥
It’s something about this place I be feeling at home 👑✨ but jerk chicken sauce is 🔥🔥🔥🔥food is 10/10 I got jerk chicken and curry chicken, I’ve had beef patties and ox tails too but they didn’t make it to the camera last time .
The food is amazing, I had the oxtail with yams and cabbage delicious. They don't skimp on the portions of food. Would definitely recommend.
This is a very small restaurant. If you blink you will miss it. I suggest you don't blink cause the food is amazing and works well for my budget. I ordered food for roughly 20 people. It was a huge order and they went out of there way to accommodate me. Needless to say everyone enjoyed the food. The only complaint i heard was that I did Not order enough cabbage LOL. So next time double cabbage. FYI Prices have gone up on all items especially the Ox tails since my original post. Be prepared to wait as well. My order was said to take 25 min for just jerk chicken @ 45 min at was still there. So just a heads up.
Love the oxtails and cabbage ? The woman in the back has the sweetest spirit! Thanks for the love you put into that plate!
The area is a little sketchy but thats usually where the good spots are, and it reigns true. I ordered the curry chicken with rice and peas with a side of jerk chicken. The rice didnt have many beans but thats jist how i like it. The lady got a little snappy with me because I didn't understand what she was saying but she apologized and this food was so delicious I wouldn't even cared if she didn't!!!! Will be returning everytime I visit Stl.
Sorry i was hangry in my pics- i ate b4 doing the review
Come to Fort Leonardwood please🙏🏾🙏🏾
Decent grub, very high in salt content. Thankfully the rice-n-peas were a good balance to help calm the salt. I would have loved to have some plantains and festival bread to complete my ackee meal. Prices are fair.

I am Jamaican and its exactly what we have in Jamaica. Very authentic and delicious.
This place at first glance was just ok. But you know the smaller places have some of the best food! This place was FIRE!!!! It was sooo good!!!
The food was amazing I don't know why this place doesn't have more business than it does I recommend you try the oxtails and jerk chicken with brown rice! Don't have photos because I ate it too fast 🤣🤣
Soooooo good. I heard about the place and pass it all the time but because of the location I just assumed it's probably not that good. I was so wrong. My bro told me about it and I finally tried it. The jerked chicken was amazing. $11 stacked with jerked chicken and rice and the cabbage was amazing. So much food I didn't even finish it and I fill full. The flavor without any sauce was so far beyond my expectations. The jerk sauce is good and slowly get hotter and hotter once you taste it. I'm usually uneasy about trying different cultural food but this changed all that. I highly recommend this to everyone
Best food being served in south St.louis.... You definitely get your money's worth.
