We stopped here for dinner on a Saturday night. The waiter was super friendly and helpful for being the only staff helping customers. I tried a curry I hadn't had before and the curry was great. The pork belly that came with it was a little dry, but not too bad. Every plate comes with a healthy portion of rice, and they have some sugar on the table that you can pour onto it for a sweet side snack. I had never tried that before and it was pretty good. The portion sizes are a bit small for what you pay for, but overall, we enjoyed our meal. We'll probably be back to try some of their other unique offerings.
Great food! Kasey was very friendly, tried Tom Yum soup and green curry for dinner. If u like spicy let them know they make it taste with a good kick of spice. Definitely going bk!
Ordered take-out at the bar, I got the Hung Leh which was pork shoulder with peanuts, ginger, and a tasty sauce. I was surprised to find that I made three large meals out of that and the rice. Also order some crab cheese wontons, super creamy and flavorful.
Delicious new Thai restaurant right off of Wash Ave and 7th. We stumbled upon it taking a walk down to Wash Ave and walked right in. The staff is so sweet and very friendly and excited to be open. The decor is very light and inviting and such a clean look to the place! Should definitely stop by and try out, such a great location!
Excellent Thai food, both the chef and the wait staff were helpful..
Every dish we had including the appetizers was delicious. Our server was delightful and the food was the right kind of spicy.
First time in on 4/6/18 with friends for lunch and it was amazing. Spring rolls, pad Thai, the list goes on... it was awesome. Hands down better than the options on South Grand. Only downside was the staff was slammed and service was a bit slow but it was Friday, at a new restaurant, and it was packed. I hope anyone that had a rough experience that day will give them another shot. We came in again for dinner on 4/8 and weren’t disappointed. Tom yum was a very well balanced broth. Had Muu Tod for the first time and it was great, really cool chili sauce. Entrees were excellent as before. This is now one of my favorite downtown spots.
What a nice Thai place to eat! Cool atmosphere and very friendly waitstaff. The food we ordered was fresh and tasty. We went right after they opened, so they didn't have a dessert menu yet. After hearing that we love mango sticky rice, the chef made us some on the house! I really hope that item is a staple on their menu now because it was the best part of dinner. I didn't give 5 stars because although I loved the experience, there are other Thai places in St. Louis with a lot more choices on their menus. But if you're looking for well-made classic Thai food served with a smile, KiiN is the place to go.
This place is amazing. Warm and receptive staff. Quality ingredients. And great dishes. I've had central and southern style Thai dishes and was very impressed with the subtle differences in their northern dishes. And the price is definitely worth it for their quality. I've been to several Thai places in STL and this is by far THE BEST (not that the others are bad but, this place is just too good). Even better than some real good Thai places that I have been to in LA, Chicago, and Seattle.
First visit today 5/24/18. Love the decor, ambiance, outdoor seating. Nice little bar area, but not for a large group. I'd call it a cozy spot with the potential of being a really "hot" happy hour spot. Def nice lunch/dinner venue. Food is really good. Glass of wine seemed overpriced. Convenient to my apartment so I will definitely be going back to try other items on the menu.
Very tasty food, friendly staff, nifty decor inside. The place is sorta easy to miss from the street however. Just ask the staff if you want to bump up the spiciness of your order. The typical spice accoutrement is available on the table as well of course. I will absolutely be going back to try more on the menu!
We spent the weekend in St Louis and came across this gem after a walk around the neighborhood. The atmosphere was nice and modern, the drinks were good and the food was delicious. I had the Hung Leh (Northern Thai curry with pork) it was very flavorful, the pork was very tender. The flavors came together in a way that may have made my heart skip a beat. My husband had a local beer, dumpling appetizer, and a noodle dish and he gives Kiin 5 stars as well. I tried the sweet iced coffee. It was good and as stated on the menu quite sweet but would make a nice dessert. I would definitely go back.
I loved this Thai restaurant, and I do ALOT of Thai. The service is exceptional, even when they are swamped with a large convention, they keep their cool and are very friendly. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. I was only visiting St. Louis, but if I ever go back, I will definitely visit Kiin again. My friend and I went twice in four days, one for lunch, once for dinner.
Super friendly staff in a fresh, new restaurant. Food was delicious, and the menu was not as overwhelming as many other Thai restaurants in the area. Overall a great spot and we’ll surely be regulars here.
Great place for dinner. Prices are reasonable, dinner was nice. Had the North Thai salad to start then the Green Chicken curry. Both had a nice bite to it, not too hot, just right.
Great service and good food. Good beer on draft. We really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a good Thai choice in STL. Walking distance from most hotels.
The food here is SO delicious! Service was fast and friendly, and I left full and so satisfied. The Khao Soi Noodles dish was amazing. Give this place a try, you won't regret it
One of best Khao Soi I've had in North America. Not many Thai restaurants know how to do northern thai cuisine right, but this place is spot on. Service is even better.
