Working to find a place for breakfast when I landed I happened upon this place. Wasn't 'sure' with diner in the name. I love diners but the typically have the save foods. The pics and menu sounded good and different. Also looked small which can be a positive so gave it a whirl. Delicious! The fried chicken spicy is a must. It is an amazing blend of spices and good kick. The pancakes were nice and fluffy. The loaf for the chicken boagie was so soft and fresh. The gravy is a ham gravy and not as thick as the NC gravy I'm used too, but very good. Very soon they will have their license so they can serve Mimosas. Highly recommend!

Delicious, quirky, and delightful. Food is delicious, had the Slinger. Hashbrown was exactly how I like it, crunchy on the outside and tasty in the inside, eggs and sausage was spot on. Half biscuit and gravy, gorgeous biscuit, nice and fluffy but toasty on the outside. I like my gravy a little on the thicker side but overall great. Quirky decorations and it really fit the neighborhood. Hope these businesses around here can revamp the area. The service is delightful. What else can you ask for. Great spot to relax and enjoy breakfast.

Heard really good things about this place and finally got the chance to go. It's a cozy little place . Not many seats available but not cramped either. It was our waitresses first day . Led to the predictable food order being wrong . It was quickly corrected by the kitchen when the wrong item arrived though. I ordered the country chicken. Fried chicken with sausage gravy on top . Really good . If the egg had been a less cooked it would of been better in my opinion. I also enjoyed the pickled green beans that came with my daughters chicken and a biscuit. Would definitely come back here again

Love this little place on Cherokee. Just happened to come across it a few months ago and have been back many times since. The staff is super friendly and the menu, while limited, is all high quality and delicious. You might want to get there early because when the food is gone, it’s gone. I personally love their take on the Slinger. Lots of flavor, not just a hot mess. If you are looking for a new place for breakfast or brunch that’s really down to earth, you can’t go wrong here.

Discovered this gem this morning when the place we were going to go to breakfast wasn’t open yet. Service was good. I had a boagie, which is a breakfast sandwich on a fresh-baked hoagie. I got it with bacon, which was chopped and crispy and mixed in with the eggs. And my husband enjoyed his chicken and egg sandwich and biscuits and gravy, which had good flavor and delicious fresh biscuit. Check this place out!

We tried the new Morning Glory Diner over on Cherokee Street. Very cool place and amazing food! Best biscuits and gravy I've had outside of Texas! Housemade sausage was delicious (and also in the gravy). Peach pie was great too. We'll be back! 🍳☕🍑🥧😋

The fried chicken is amazing! Little pricey for what it is. They also ran out of a few food items well before closing time. Definitely a hole in the wall diner with good people. Very hipster vibe. Coffee isn't great, but is bottomless. Good place for a one time breakfast.

Absolutely delicious biscuits and gravy (probably the best I’ve ever eaten!) Fluffy, hearty biscuits that stood up to the weight of the gravy without being overly heavy themselves. My husband ordered fried chicken and johnnycakes, which were both excellent. Atmosphere was also excellent. We were seated quickly at 11:30 on a Sunday morning. Lots of space to sit at the diner counter or at traditional tables. A good mix of casual diner feel with trendy neighborhood restaurant. Plan to be regulars - and we’re looking forward to trying the pie!

Dropping in here to try something new. Very cool place with tasty food. Little heavy on the butter other than that delicious all around.

First time here and I completely loved it! Everything about the decor made me so happy. The mismatched plates, the old diner chairs, the crazy coffee mugs, and the crazy salt and pepper shakers were just a few of the things that makes this place unique in so many ways. I ordered the fried chicken and Johnny cakes and I absolutely loved it. If you've never tried this place please do!

Found this quaint small capacity (20) diner for breakfast. This is what they are good at.... breakfast.... Because that is what they do. Had the special and it was great because the vegetables were fresh from the garden. Johnny Cakes are moist and fluffy. Will come here for breakfast again. Come early as the seats fill up right away.

If anyone has any complaint about the food hear. It’s false. Best breakfast I’ve ever had. Fried chicken and Johnny Cakes with biscuits and gravy on the side. I haven’t found a place better for breakfast than this one, not Chicago, Seattle, Kansas City any of the places I’ve been. I will definitely be back.

The food was great, atmosphere so cute! Service was a little slow. Everyone but the cook seemed to be dragging their feet. My mom got her food several minutes before me and I could see my food sitting up on the counter ready to be delivered but the server was no where to be found. To the point where the chef asked where he was eventually and pointed to all the food that was waiting. Overall it was a really nice breakfast, just don’t go if you’re in a hurry.

I don't often write reviews but the fried chicken at this place deserves 5 stars. Biscuits & gravy also worth a notable mention --very rich gravy and flaky biscuits that have a hint of honey. Some of the best B&G in town and I've tried them all. It's on the pricey side for a "diner" but the food is delicious and all made from scratch.

What a great discovery this diner was! Small and cozy, with friendly and accommodating staff. Everything except for the hash browns is made from scratch here, and the owner rightfully bragged about his fried chicken. Maybe the best fried chicken I've had in town. I will absolutely come here again.
