Located in Salem, Connecticut at the four corners (RT 85 & RT82) , this is the best place in the area to get a classic Connecticut Apizza. They sell by the slice or will do a whole pizza for you. Don't miss out on their collection of grinders and sandwiches.

Accidentally pulled in here on our road trip, and we were a little apprehensive about the area and atmosphere. We were on our way to a local farm brewery that has no food, so we had to eat. A local had ordered a flat bread sandwich, so after reading the menu, I wanted one too. I was not disappointed. The sandwich was huge and heavy, full of ingredients and they make their own fresh bread. I couldn't finish it and saved for later. Delicious. I highly recommend stopping in and picnicking somewhere with the food.

The food was good but I was felt a little disappointed in the pizza we ordered. It was comparable to rolling tomato in Groton just with better service and a lot more options. We will be trying it again since the garlic knots they have with bacon were great and the dupping sauce was divine. If you want a pizza place in Salem that's open all week this is the only option.

Stopped on the way to the beach. Got the fatti grinders. Halves for 12 are massive! Wish they were closer to us. The server was friendly, and even gave a good beach rec. Will be back to try the pizza!

We went in just to check it out & the guys were super friendly! We told them we were going to work up an appetite & they said they hoped we will come back, they'd be waiting for us. Very good energy, definitely made us curious. Their menu is pretty extensive & rather creative with the toppings & the item names, they offer gluten-free options as well. We did go back a little while later & ordered a large "The Godfather" (Mozzarella, pepperoni, & yummy sausage) to go, but ate a slice before we left while it was hot. Gotta give props to the sauce & crust - both fresh & the crust had the crunch. Imperfectly shaped, letting you know each is handmade. We had a bit of a situation where our pizza had to be remade, the manager handled the situation very well (much better than expected) & went above & beyond. One of the guys was his first day - he was very friendly & while helping a few customers, gave the appearance he had been there for a while.. not like a first day. I made sure to tell him & he was very appreciative. All 3 of the guys were smiling & gave very good Customer Service - something that makes good food taste better! The only real drawback is that it's small! When we originally went in, there was no way I'd consider eating in. As long as there really isn't anyone else in there we will, otherwise it'll definitely be to-go. We can't wait to eat there again!! :-)

Humongous portions at very low cost! These guys are good! I stopped here on the way to Mohegan. I think this was way better than any of the food you will get in the casino. I noticed most people were just ordering takeout. Next time, I'll put an order in advance, then pick it up and head over to Fox Farms Brewery for some beer to pair with the delicious garlic cheese bread and tuna sandwich!

We found the plum tomato because we were in the mood for sandwiches and were in the area. We are so happy we did. The roast beef sandwich with peppers and onions and mushrooms and cheese was one of the best sandwiches we've ever had. They were made to order and piping hot when we got them. The rest of the food looked amazing as well. We'll definitely make it a point to stop in for something when we're in the area.
