Decent! Fresh enough and always good variety. Pretty clean and comfortable inside. HTB can always be a hit or miss experience but you have to lower your standards just a little bit if you are used to higher quality food. You have to know what you're getting. It's very affordable and hard to beat if you are ok rolling the dice a little on if this or that will be good today. Sometimes, they'll surprise you with fantastic ribs! It's a good spot. Just keep an open mind. It's definitely not bad.

Sometimes you just need a REAL meal... and sometimes you can't quite define what that would be, because you have an appetite but you don't know what sounds best... head for the buffet!! We were delighted to find this one, while staying overnight on a long trip- the food was GREAT, the place was busy, bustling with fresh plates and dishes to try, and old standby foods too! They had an icee machine which was great in the summer heat, and the roast beef was delicious! I was really surprised at how good the food was, actually! We might end up planning a stop here sometime based on that alone- it's rare that a big chain like this is really tasty. The drawback is that it is both expensive and crowded, so you have to be patient and good-humored going in. Everyone needs to eat, after all!

Our latest visit they had a lot of new menu options that I really enjoyed, some lighter and healthier fare than what has been typically offered in the past. Cashier was super friendly to my kids, as well as the meat cutter and lady making cotton candy. Good table service, our empty plates were cleared promptly. It's our go-to place when we are starving and can't decide what to eat, lots of choices to make everyone happy. Nothing not to like!

The food was fine. It's never great, but it's never horrible either. I don't ever eat more than 1 plate full of food, so the all-you-can eat places aren't a big draw for me. I do enjoy the strawberry cheesecake tho, and I have it every time I'm there. This time we were there for my aunt and uncle's (80+) birthday party and the staff really took care of us. We were a large party of 22 and it was a great experience. They let us bring in our own cake and they even brought us boxes so we could take home the left over cake. They made sure we were taken care of and were constantly checking on us. It was a very busy Saturday night and they were packed and we still got exceptional service. That only deserves 5 stars even though the food is only passable.
