We loved The Fritz! Our first time there and we were so happy with the laid back, beautiful outside area, the beer, and the delicious food! Several wonderful options for vegetarians including eggplant /ricotta (+more) stack, ricotta and basil ravioli with asparagus and balsamic salad, and a divine Mac and cheese (ordered sans bacon). All were a delight to the tastebuds! There were many other options we will try another day!

The Fritz is hands down our favorite date night place in town. We usually stick with the small plates, which have a variety of something curious and whimsical, such as Asian pickled quail eggs (last night) or rabbit and antelope cherry-habenero sausage, to something more standard and comfort-y, like button mushrooms, steak with a horseradish aoli, or the Buffalo cauliflower (all very straight up and tasty). We've taken our kids there a few times, and always managed to find something they enjoyed on the menu, but the Fritz usually suits us better on the nights we can find a baby sitter. The atmosphere is great. Fun to sit at the bar and chat it up with locals and tourists alike. The bartenders and servers have always been welcoming and friendly to us and the Fritz has had a good variety of local and craft brews on draft when I've been there. We're glad this place is here in Salida, and enjoy getting out to it when we can.

Grant and staff gave us exceptional service and accommodations so we could have our wedding rehearsal dinner at The Fritz. The meal was superb, and I also came away with a perfect wedding gift as well from the amazing local artists they support. If you're in Salida, you must stop by and have the Steak Frites!

I love the fact that you can get small plates or big plates here. I am a sucker for the bacon wrapped dates but everything I have had here has been excellent.

The setting - lovely. The sardines and baguette, divine. The grilled romaine, manchego, and dates - creative and delicious. Jackalope gin - bring it on. I had not tried a Chilean sav blanc; it was perfect.

This restaurant has always been our place to take guests or where we go to celebrate something special. We love the tapas style menu and the rotating specials. The atmosphere is just cool and cozy. We’re really looking forward to the reopening.

If you eat at one place in Salida, make it this one. If you order drinks in Salida, order them here. If you love Mezcal, it’s the only game in town. We came on multiple nights and everything was delicious, the staff was always friendly and the cocktails are perfect. The salads are particularly tasty and the owner made us feel right at home. Seriously, we’re coming back next time we’re in Salida.

Small, cozy bar with fantastic craft cocktails and an ever-changing menu featuring amazing dishes from all over. I've had a burger topped with Korean slaw, chicken Tikka masala, and black garlic hummus on the same day. I make it a point to stop by when I'm in Salida. I never know what's gonna be on the menu, but I know I'm always going to be able to get something amazing. I have never left hungry, and I have never left disappointed.

This is a really great little bar and restaurant in downtown Salida. Fast service and great drinks and food. There burger of the day is constantly changing and is really good. You can combine little plates and big plates to give yourself a wonderful variety of interesting cuisine. Also try the ginger lemonade, it is delicious. Do not pass up the opportunity to try out this great place.

Came here for gfs birthday! Reasonable prices and a wide selection of food. Elote was eh but we loved the spinach dip, mac and cheese, and chicken apple brie sandwich. Paloma hit as well! Outdoor patio provided great atmosphere.

Phenomenal views, food and service. Kenneth took very good care of us out of towners. We made it there at the perfect time and got a window seat with views of Riverfront Park. Mussels were in abundance and hearty! The smoked trout- so good! Elk jalapeno sausage- WOW! I highly recommend this local eatery.

In a world where disappointment is the default, I'm stunned when I visit someplace that does it right. The Fritz is stunning. To start, it's a beautifull setting in an old building across from a beautiful riverside park. Our host, Eric was friendly and attentive through our visit. The staff worked together seamlessly. I don't know who "had" or table but we were served efficiently by the entire team. The beverages, a signature cocktail and a mocktail, where both on point. The menu is creatively put together with obvious care. The entrees where beautifully plated and prepared perfectly. The peach cobbler desert was a gloomy of heaven. 800 miles from home but we'll be back. BTW, Salina is a beautiful city!

Visited on two consecutive nights. The first was a quiet evening with few patrons. The service was great and the food spectacular. A real treat. Perfect date for us. The second was crowded and noisy. We were waited on by four different people. But none seemed to have ownership of our table. The food was delivered in steps. Some came out cold and some was delayed by 30 to 45 minutes. What was finally delivered was excellent. I think they were overwhelmed with visitors. I would recommend eating here and would gladly go back. The elk sausage and pot sticker dishes are artwork! Dang goid mac and cheese too.

I can't speak on the food because we just came in for drinks that night but I really enjoyed the funky decor inside and the patio out back was a great space for enjoying our cocktails.

Five stars for having great reviews. How about you update your hours posted on Google, so people don't have to drive all the way to your front door to find out that you're closed.

Awesome food, service and atmosphere. Most offerings are small plates. We may have requested a second order of the mac n cheese. . .

Great little bar / restaurant with a very local feel. Chicken Tikka Masala was some of the best I have eaten. Burger was very good, too.

Excellent service by Kitty and bartender Nick.Three of us shared three small plates: the asparagus perfectly cooked, tuna ahi and interestingly warmed olives. We sat outside which was lovely. Would go again.
