the food was excellent, the habit chef was top notch and made my birthday experience one I won't forget. The waitress was a bit overwhelmed with all the tables though, I highly recommend more waitresses or waiters on staff.
My kids choose this for their birthday every single year and I love to take visitors to Salina to Daimaru because the food is so amazing! Even if the service isn't always great or they are crowded it continues to be the best hibachi I've ever had. Last night we went for another birthday celebration and the server and chef were both very good and the food, as usual, delicious!

The food was amazing as always!! This time we sat in the dining area where our waitress, Rachel Bieker, was very sweet and efficient! We ordered all sushi and the presentation the sushi chef did with our order was beautiful and adorable!! They definitely went above and beyond!! Thanks Rachel and Chef!! �����

We had an amazing server, Angelina. Tthe food came out quick, and it wasn't too crowded.
Our cups were always filled and she was very professional and knowledgeable of the menu options.
My favorites were the crazy roll and shrimp tempura. My husband likes the Rainbow roll and USA roll (USA roll is deep fried).
I would come again just for the salad. Ask for the house dressing, it is AMAZING. I am normally a 'ranch on the side' person, but I loved theirs.
For appetizers, I reccomend the Beef Tataki. I attached pictures. It was flavorful and not overcooked.
My husband said the cheesecake was good, he had the strawberry.

The house dressing for the house salad is my favorite. They have lunch special and a lot of drinks an cocktails. The staff is friendly and polite, the food is ok.
Very good atmosphere and very much Asian style. It was great to visit with family and friends. Especially raw fishes sushi were Excellent foods! Especially the sushi was very authentic and fresh. And other Asian foods were very authentic too!. The menus have many selections. It's amazing. If you don't eat sushi, they have a lot of variety of appetizers such as edamame, harumaki, Asian style saladas, and desserts. I didn't order steaks but look very delicious. also, they are always sanitized everywhere. I went to lunch time, inexpensive price. I always satisfied. Love to coming here again soon. I highly recommend it.
My first time in Kansas and was craving sushi so I came to Daimaru. The staff is friendly and Rob is a good server. They have a great selection of food to choose from and when I ordered, the food came out quick and fresh. I will be back a couple more times before I leave.
You will not find better food anywhere. Wow, wow, wow. Get the tuna nachos appetizer. You won't be disappointed.
