I was born in Salinas and I have been eating at Rosita's since I was a toddler. Never in my life have I eaten at a restaurant that has been consistently perfect. It is an institution of this town and a mandatory stop when I come to visit family. For me, eating at Rosita's is like visiting with family.

Used to go when stationed in the area in the early 80's. Happy to find it was still as wonderful as I remembered and was able to share it with my husband and college age son on our road trip to Cali from the Midwest. We were waited on by the granddaughter of the owner. She was a firecracker and gave us great service. Chili rellenos to die for....thanks!
If I ever get back to salinas this place will definitely be on my list to go. The best mexican food ever. So glad to see it still standing.

Can't go wrong eating here!! The best chili rellanos ever! Been eating here since I was about 3-4 years old! Carmen is always very helpful even when you show up with a table of 20 without warning!

My family has been coming here every Sunday since I was a baby. Now 27 years later tje tradition continues on with both my daughters coming along and they love it as much as I do. The food is great and the staff is amazing. They are so welcoming and cater to you right away. They offer the best chips & salsa in town as well as the best rice and beans. I highly recommend coming here.
Our family has been coming here for 4 generations, The staff are always friendly and hospitable. The food is excellent & the recipes top secret.. The chicken mole is great, but those Chile Rellenos are sabrosos! Try the combo plate #1..

As sad as we are that we can't just drop in and visit with the wonderful family and staff, some growing up before our eyes, AND enjoy our favorite dishes ( best chili rellanos ever, B loves the pork chops, kids say best enchiladas in the USA... and more) we are happy Carmen can relax and enjoy life! Great homemade selections, the Chile rellenos are famous in these parts. Also, that server Lupe is the reason this place stands apart from all the other Mexican food establishments in town. She's also kind of cute too.
Good down to earth tasty food, the staff was very nice. They have a good bar. Prices are reasonable.
In short, it's a fun, low key place to hang out.
I love this place and miss it. When i come to visit, this is my go to place for authentic mexican food. All staff are great. I highly recommend this place.
