I've only been here twice once for the first day of spring but that got me hooked I love it!!! Their gelati is amazing it's like a cream sickle but better especially with that little custard surprise at the bottom of the cup!!! Highly recommend you go out and try them. Oh and did I mention they have sugar free ice options? That's what I got, sugar free pineapple ice with vanilla custard. So delicious, especially the temperature and consistency difference between the ice and custard but together it is a great combo.

Took my class on a field trip to Rita's in Salinas today!! All the kids loved it, we got a tour of the shop and also got to make our own Cookies And Cream ice!! The workers at Rita's were all so nice and very active with the students. Glad we got the chance to go and can't wait to go back! Thank you Rita's for a great first field trip to kick off the school year!!
Took the boys today to try it. Line was a bit long, but moved fast. Employees had a great system going and were all very friendly. Horchata ice with butter pecan custard AMAZING. Boys had Blue Raspberry, and Jolly Rancher Green Apple with Cotton Candy custard. We will definitely be back. Great job Rita's.
Absolutely love Rita's. The Salinas location was my first time trying it and I was pleasantly surprised. The custards and creams were thicker and richer than expected, and the Italian Ice flavor I tried (lime) was very refreshing. Perfect summer stop.

I am going to be a repeat visitor. I had a taste of the ice, but I want custard and this will fill that need. I liked the texture and the smoothness of the custard. I will be back.
