Recently visited my hometown of Salinas from northern Oregon and made it a point to pick up a dozen of their assorted cupcakes - soooo worth the 11hr drive!!! we'll be back!!!
The cupcakes and cookies are fucking delicious! And the black girl behind the counter is OMG gorgeous! I don't go to Salinas often but this place is def a reason to go.
I hosted my daughter-n-laws baby shower today and Dolly Cakes exceeded my expectations!! Very caring, professional and very affordable! Beautiful cake-pops, cupcakes and cake. I highly recommend their business!
I walked in craving something sweet and they delivered I got a chocolate chocolate cupcake it was so moist one of the best I have had I also got huge slice of cheesecake to share with my daughter the next day it was so creamy it just melted in my mouth.
Love my shop lol it's like my second home love baking for my home town all the special treats my mom made me as a child happy to share these family recipes with everyone who walks in thank you salinas and surrounding towns
I just ordered these for a party and EVERYONE was impressed. One person said it was the best cupcakes they ever ate. They are super nice and I will be ordering from them again.
I went there a few weeks ago and had my baby shower cake done there. And omg let me just say how amazing it came out. Everyone one at my party enjoyed it. Presentation and the taste was beyond what I expected. Love this place.

The best! Even after a day the cupcakes are dreamy. The ladies there are just wonderful. We ordered cupcakes for my daughter's birthday and everyone loved them.

We ordered the mini fruit tarts for a Mother-Son dance and they were amazing. Everybody loved them! They tasted as good as they looked. I only wish I had ordered more...they were the first dessert to go and they went fast. Will definitely order again. Thank you!

Oh my goodness their cupcakes are SO DELICIOUS and gourmet. Many different and unique flavors to choose from. They sell out of them every day though because they don't want to waste their supplies I suppose. Wish they weren't all sold out like 3 hours before they close or else I would give them 5 stars which they really deserve for what they're selling.

By far my favorite bakery! My favorite is the Ho Ho cupcake. It's perfect not to sweet yet so yummy, perfect balance! My husband loves the Red Velvet cupcake. He's a big fan of red velvet and says nobody does it right except for Dolly Cakes!
Delicious cupcakes, everything is made fresh and with the best ingredients. Quite a wide variety of flavors from other cupcake shops. I really enjoyed the smores, peanut butter, and red velvet flavors. I highly recommend this place whether you just want a yummy cupcake one afternoon or if you need cupcakes for an event.
Cakes are amazing! The texture of the bread is way better than any bakery in Salinas. The prices are reasonable as well! I wanted a cake for a bridal shower 1 tier and other bakeries like cake express, main street bakery and royal deli etc gave me an outrageous price of over $150. At Dolly’s I was able to get a 1 tier for 40-50 people for $89 so glad I found this gem, will be ordering more.
My go to when I want to celebrate someone. Their cupcakes are fun and tasty. A cupcakes for every preference. Their cheesecake cupcakes are unique and tasty. Everyone should try one once.
We ordered a vegan chocolate cake and it was amazing! Everyone loved it and was gone fast!!! The texture and taste was sooooo good!!! Also made a large vegan cupcake cake and it was so cute and delicious !!!
