This is my dad’s favorite daily morning ritual and community. Always love starting my days in SLC with a trip to visit the Coffee Garden tribe. Thanks to the best baristas anywhere for creating such a pleasant and welcoming environment.
Cute coffee shop in the 9th & 9th district of SLC... not a bad idea to check out! Some allergy friendly treats, open late with patio seating. ☕️
Best friendly place ever ,best customer service i recommend my parents love it too
I only hesitate to give a review for The Coffee Garden...because its so wonderful I often want to keep it for myself. That said, the coffee and pastries are excellent...and that's coming from someone who drives down from North Ogden just to enjoy. The barista's and other service staff are some of the best and I always feel welcomed to their establishment.
My favorite coffee place in SLC. All the baristas are so genuine and friendly, the baked goods are excellent, the coffee sublime. There's almost always a place to sit, especially if you go very early, as is my habit.
Hands down my favorite coffee shop in the city. The coffee tastes great at both of the locations that I frequent, and I've never had a mistake on an order.
Breakfast to die for, I ordered the Bacon, Egg, Swiss, and Tomato Croissant today and the flavors are impeccable. The coffee is fantastic, not too dry and the getting the house brew black on the rocks makes for a great mixer with Kahlua & milk for the mornings you need some knives to wake up with. Highly recommend it, couple those things with working right next to the place makes for a beautiful relationship. A must have for anyone who commutes on foot and wants REAL coffee / breakfast, not the crap they serve at Starbucks.
Keep up the good work guys!
Other than a elderly man sitting at a table for over 5 hours without any Coffee Garden coffee or treat, taking a 45 minute break to go shopping while leaving his table occupied with all of his possessions ... then napping for an hour, Everything is fabulous!
Customer service ALWAYS exceeds my expectations, as well as caliber of drinks and food. *But* it’s the customer service that makes me return.
Quite possibly my favorite spot in all of SLC. Just go. And have anything from the baked goods counter while you are there - amazing.
I've had coffee around the world, but the Coffee Garden is always my favorite. Favorite coffee, people, ambiance, and energy. I'm ever thankful for my baristas who get me through many a hard morning with their delicious brews.
Friendly staff, tasty baked goods, and quality "covfefe". Don't come expecting to charge your laptop, though, all the outlets are inexplicably loose.
Love this place the frozen Latte is amazing wish I had one in my home town.
Friendly, delicious, good attitude, nice swag, good coffee!
Favorite place to do homework except it is always so packed!!
This is a great coffee shop located in a busy, but nice area! They have a really great menu with a lot of drink and food choices. The service is very friendly and the atmosphere is very laid back and enjoyable. My coffee tasted delicious and was exactly what I had ordered! Plenty of indoor seating and outdoor seating. Recommend stopping in!
Absolutely a great coffee spot! Good selections of coffee and pastries.
🥐Croissant is a must!! I had my plain one dipped in my coffee and it was wonderful…
But I won’t recommend orange cream cake. The cream was too stiff and the flavor was slightly artificial in my opinion.
Nice coffee break spot if you bored from the commercials.
Playing Bach and Mozart all night long with espresso and chocolate cake.
Service people at the other side of the counter looks like having hard time that night but I adore people, who even working under challenging conditions.
This is my go to coffee shop. It’s owned by two lovely, gay men. I love that! However, because it’s owned by two men, it definitely has a ManCave atmosphere at times. I love that Alan, one of the owners, put some orchids in the middle of the shop. It’s so busy that flow of traffic can be challenging. That’s a good thing! 👏🏽💕
This place was pretty good! The espresso was a little strong for me, I'm more of a medium instead of dark person so this is personal preference and not a hit on the shop. My boyfriend loves darker roasts and he liked the espresso here a lot. The service was nice and quick and was busy even at 3pm which I did not expect. They were sweet enough to do a little whipped cream in a cup for my dog waiting outside, much appreciated!
Nice coffee shop with a large selection of drinks and baked goods. Plenty of seating, indoor and out. One of my go to coffee spots!
Can’t go wrong with a warm mocha. The place is really nice with lots of seating. Will have to come back and try pastores but lots of options to choose from. Staff at the time i went were okay. Not too friendly but not in a bad mood. It was weird lol. Still would come back :)
This place is super spacious indoors and outdoors. They have an extensive menu of coffee and tea drinks, and tons of good looking pastries. It's great for working if you can work offline (there's no Wi-Fi, but tons of outlets and nothing but classical music playing). Or they can do what they suggest and converse with company! I had an iced London fog it it was high quality tea. There's definitely lots of potential on the menu here I can't comment on, but my curiosity to try more from this place is very high.
I've been here a couple hundred times, and it's truly the best coffee in SLC. The team is amazing, and the atmosphere is phenomenal. Classical music, cozy chairs, good lighting, local art, and incredible coffee - what's not to love?
5 different seating areas for high replayability (including secluded back seating, community seating, and outdoor seating with lots of dogs and sparrows).
Oh, and fresh pastries. Become addicted at your own risk - I can't move cause I'd miss this place.
Great coffee shop. Super fun flavors of syrups and a ton a choices. Cute quaint and good coffee. Good prices too. Only complaint is the lid on my to go cup didn’t fit great which meant spilled coffee all over me and the car when I picked up the cup. 😢. Please get lids that fit better on your to go cups. I’ll will still definitely come back.
