Cool spot with good food and an easy going vibe. Mostly college age crowd and pretty lively for 9:30pm on a Tuesday. If you go, get the Philly cheesesteak. They've been making them here for 10+ years and they're delicious. Also $3 shots for their well vodka, is a plus in my book.

I've heard about this place for years. But for a big part of my life I did not go to bars. My friend took me here for lunch during our errands downtown together. I have to say.... DAMN good decision. One guy working there doing everything. Tending, bartender and cook. Impressive customer service, on point and willing to do so much for us. Wait, wait, wait... THAT POTATO SALAD!!!! It's been many years and thousands and thousands of miles traveled since any place I ate came close to this potato salad. -Love ya Mr. Pickles

Got a shot of Maker's Mark and a Squatters Juicy IPA for $10 from an incredibly friendly bartender, already makes my day. Vibes are perfect for what you want from a "dive"-people are friendly but not weirdly enthusiastic. Pool, pinball and a darts machine, plus a few TVs. Wish I was in SLC longer,I would love to hang out here and waste some time!

Nice little "dive bar" where your welcome even if you arent a regular. The service was good and the Philly Cheesesteak was very nice tons of flavor and it is all chopped together almost in a grinder style. Great selection of whiskey as well

Not a bad place. It tries to be a "Chicago bar," and the interior does reflect a typical neighborhood bar in Chicago. That's where it kind of ends, however. They don't actually focus on playing Chicago sports (e.g., Bears), so if you are looking for a place to watch the Bears, Bulls, Cubs, White Sox, and/or Blackhawks, I'd suggest going somewhere else.

I have been going to Duffy's On & Off for about 4 years but the last 2 years much more since I moved closer. I don't get why people say the staff are unwelcoming. If anything some of the patrons have been a bit surly/grizzled but still decent and keep to themselves. Duffy's is one of my favorite bars ever. I always get treated very well and never have to wait long at all even when its busy. Staff is super kind and down to earth people. Food is always delicious. Music is always a gamble but that's half the fun!!! Shoutout to Joe!!

I played professional baseball in the early 90's there in Salt Lake City!!! Duffy's was the place we could go to when we didn't have any money and could always get a sandwich and a drink and just hang out and play pool!!! We even partied at Duffys with our owner Bill Murry, he was a wild and crazy guy!! Loved my time at Salt Lake City, and Duffy's was a big reason why.....great place for minor league players to have being from all over the country!! Thank you Duffy's, you made playing ball tolerable!!!

I was walking around looking for a small bar to have a drink in. I walked into a few other spots but didn't feel comfortable. As soon as I walked in to Duffy's, Dakota and Cort made me feel super comfortable. They were friendly and inviting. Great drink specials. Clean environment. And as an added bonus, they serve food! I had the pizza. It was delicious. When you visit, as for a screwball. Trust me! So good.

Has the right combination of "dive bar" but nice bar feeling. The night I went there were only a few people but if they're reflective of the clientele that generally come to this establishment then it's definitely a nice place to relax and have a few drinks. I wish I could remember the bartender's name but he was very pleasant, always on point, and really nice to talk to. While I didn't get anything to eat, they do serve regular bar appetizers, sandwiches, and burgers and the food does look good and isn't pricey. Definitely worth stopping in for a drink or two

First time here. I had the French Dip which was very good. The bar has a homey feel to it.

Not the msot helpful employee but they were reasonably nice and welcoming. Place can be improved by new clothes for a larger variation. Also new accessories may be added. In general, you feel like you are in a great house whose owner has the best taste of pop culture and 80-90s.

Happened by and decided to stop in. Glad we did. Friendly staff and shot and beer specials. Kitchen was closing but they offered to fire it back up to make us some food. We'll get some next time, thanks for the offer though. Sandwich and wings were praised by others at the bar. Still, one of the best spots in SLC for good sandwiches and reasonable drinks. Don't tell just anyone. Let's keep it on a need to know basis.
