Checked this place our with a friend last Friday. All Sushi is 50% which is great but I’ve never understood why restaurants just don’t lower their prices to the 50% price instead of making you think you’re getting a special when it’s not exactly a special because it’s always 50% off. Service was quick. I tried the egg flower soup & it was okay. It was very light & not a ton of flavor. I grabbed 2 vegetarian rolls which ended up being VERY similar to one another & I wasn’t aware of this until they arrived at the table. I likely would have ordered something else if I had know, just for more of a variety. I ordered the Asparagus Avocado Cucumber roll. I really liked this roll! Such a great combo with these three green veggies. I also ordered the vegetarian roll, which essentially was the same thing as the other roll, minus the asparagus & I think it had added lettuce in it. They were so similar though. Would have liked a little more of a variety. My friend ordered the Vegas roll & The Utah Roll. Presentation for both of these rolls were beautiful! The Vegas roll had sauce that was evenly tossed through the entire roll. The Utah Roll had the perfect amount of crab but it was kind of hard to pick up & eat with the chop sticks. It fell apart easily. I would definitely check this place out again for some more vegetarian rolls. It looked like they had a pretty good variety of Sushi rolls as well as some non-sushi items on the menu for those who aren’t into sushi.

Really classy and beautiful interior inside. The place is clean and I was helped quickly. I ordered the $4.50 california rolls and they were delicious! Highly recommended as typical cali rolls don't have much flavor. I also ordered the sweet and sour chicken with some fried rice. The proportions are a bit odd as there's more chicken than rice, but hey, I'm not complaining. For $11, I got plenty of food and the chicken was super fresh and crunchy. I wasn't a fan of the flavor as it was just sweet with no sour. Overall, really great experience and money well-spent.

Sushi tasted fine, interesting way of marketing with the 50% off sushi. Without that, all these sushi in the photos would cost about $19 each (definitely not worth that price). In short, the price was probably raised high, so it feels like you got a deal, but not really. Just keep that in mind.

Been coming here for years and absolutely love it! Go-to rolls have always been hidden dragon, Red Bull, and fatty salmon; every other roll I’ve ever tried has always been delicious. Even when it’s packed, you can get in and out quickly and easily with minimal wait time before or during your meal.

New building is wonderful and clean. Great Sushi! 50% off all the time. My husband and I got 3 rolls including a Vegas roll to share and two egg drop soups and it only came out to $14, but tasted so good. ***Update: Snow Crab Naruto Roll is now my favorite 😍. Not 50% off, but so worth it.

A new sushi house offering 50% off in all their sushi. We have a big group but were seated in a reasonable time. Food is good, not the best but definitely good. All our food orders were served in a reasonable time except for one member in our group where her food order was way delayed even after few follow-ups and the restaurant is only like 70% full. We were all done eating and hers wasn't served yet to the point where we placed additional orders just so she won't be eating by herself. It's kind of odd but overall ok. Place is spacious and sufficient parking too.

A surprisingly good cheaper option for sushi. We went on a sunday for lunch and were seated promptly. The restaurant began to fill up as we were there. Service was very good. They were friendly, attentive, and quick! The restaurant is actually a really beautiful space with a variety of seating options. It seemed very clean. The menu is rather gimmicky. The sushi is priced at 1/2 off...permanently. Obviously this is a marketing trick but it worked well since I knew about it before visiting. It would be entirely possible to get a full meal off the cheaper sushi for $10. We opted for some of the cheap rolls and some of the fancier ones. One of the deep-fried rolls was incredible. The dessert roll we tried was also excellent. The cheap rolls were basic but still good. This would be a great option for families who want to try sushi but don't want to dole out the big bucks for higher end ingredients.

Our favorite place to go for sushi whenever my son comes to visit. So good, in fact, we went twice this visit! My favorites are the UU, the Utah, and the California rolls. Absolutely delicious! My son always enjoys the Spicy Tuna, and Smoked Salmon rolls. Ichiban Sushi never disappoints!

Have been coming to Ichiban for years. I have never had even a single bite that wasn't perfectly prepared and not made by the freshest ingredients. The service is always very good and the ambiance of the new building is comfortable.

Such a great family atmosphere, 50% all the time so don’t be fooled by the menu. Kids love coming here to try new rolls. Great service!

This is a wonderful sushi restaurant, in Salt Lake City. This was our first time visiting this restaurant, we went with adult children who visit fairly frequently. The sushi here, is absolutely delicious, and well presented also. They seem to have the best value, for sushi, in the Salt Lake City area. We also had soups as well that were delicious also. They advertise half off sushi, and they mean it. Don’t let the menu price scare you, since they will be half-price.

Best sushi in Utah. The hidden dragon roll is the best 🔥 the employees are very nice. We drive out of our way for this sushi.
