Best Indian food I have had in Salt Lake City.
I ordered the Lamb samosa, garlic naan, and Baigan Bharta. I asked for a spice level of 6/6, and it did not disappoint. The naan is soft, delicious, and pillow like, and the samosa is crispy and airy. The Lamb is not gamey it would be perfect as an introduction to lamb and/or samosas, especially with the mint and tamarind chutney they are served with.
I love the food. It was fresh and full of flavor. I love this place. After 3 plates of food, I'm full and it a good full. Very satisfied.
I was really craving Indian food so I went here for pick up. Ordered the chicken tikka masala, vegetable coconut korma, lamb boti kebab, and lamb samosas with plenty of naan. The food is excellent! If you have time, you should visit for the lunch buffet. The price is very reasonable and there's always an excellent selection of dishes. This is one of my favorite Nepalese-Indian places.
Though the service is a bit slow and lacks attentiveness… the food was fantastic.
Lamb Korma was wonderful. The Cheese naan was delicious! And the Mango lasso was great.
Definitely a do over
Very authentic Indian food. Service was good. Everyone there was really friendly. The Butter chicken didn't really have any flavor but everything else we ordered was very flavorful. The prices are a little high for the amount you get at dinner. We will be back again to try other things. The menu has a lot of options.
Lot of choices from Nepali to Indian dishes both in veg and non-veg. They also have Vegan and Gluten free dishes. Friendly service and the owner is very pleasant to talk to. Definetely must try if in Salt Lake City.
I liked this place. The saag was a bit different than others but it was still good. When I requested hot, it came as I would normally expect it, hot. The naan was well done and the service was exceptional. I definitly suggest giving this place a try.
Eat your big meal at lunch with the buffet! $12.77 with tax. Yummy food, relaxed setting, clean restrooms, very nice staff, great for a solo diner or large groups [there's a glass walled area for private groups]. There were at least 6 main entrees, multiple side dishes, salad, and rice and mango puddings for dessert, so I'm confused why someone wrote "not many choices". The place you will enjoy, absolutely amazing, I was greeted by the owner Govinda, thank You 🙏, for the amazing service and attention as well as your Brother in Law. This is the second restaurant in the salt lake area, the first restaurant has been opened for over 10 years with a great clientele.
Come enjoy.
Very automatic Indian Restaurant
Found this amazing restaurant on Christmas day...so happy they were open. Since then, everytime we have a celebration, the adults as well as the children all want to go back to Kathmandu! (And these are kids who were in food therapy for food sensory issues!) Amazing service, Amazing food, Amazing atmosphere. The pair that run it make it really special and are patient with me when I'm asking about all of the amazing ingredients/flavors like the mint sauce! We love all the soups and the Aloo Kerau and the garlic Nan! We all have our favorite dishes that never fail and we also LOVE trying new and amazing dishes! Thanks for being there!
We aren’t experts but love to try new things and they bring out the Chicken Butter and Lamb Curry in a bowl that you out on a bed of rice. We ordered the spice level of 4 out of 6 was just right for us. Saturday afternoon the buffet is open so we will definitely be back for more and the chance to try other dishes.
We have ordered take out several times from here but decided to dine in tonight. So happy we did! We were seated right away (even during prime dinner hours). The staff was delightful. Food was fast and delicious. We will definitely be back soon!
The food at this restaurant was fantastic! The Chicken Tikka Masala was tender and the flavor was amazing. The Garlic Naan was perfect. It was also my first time trying Gulab Jamun and I loved it. The thing that made me give this place a 4 star review was the portions were a little small for the price of the dish.
This is top quality dining and a great atmosphere and service too. This restaurant serves delicious authentic Indian and Nepali dishes and serves an buffet during lunch. The many varieties of cuisine are all delicious and the quality cannot be beat. Please try the mango rice and mango pudding for a sweet treat you will not find anywhere else.
Came with my family for dinner, the food was delicious! The mango lassi was perfect I should have had it for dessert it was so filling. Seems like a hidden gem more people should absolutely check out
