This place was a hole in the wall and so darned delicious. I got the alambre and my son got the green enchiladas. Both were divine and authentic. The flavors were to die for.

This is the best Mexican restaurant I ever been. I always call it Hope. Because two years ago I just start my business in Utah everything was tough. In one snowing windy night my car broken. In my worst moment I found this restaurant and try their beef asopao soup, so warm so much beef and so nice services! I really love this restaurant!

This is one of the best place to have a nice dinner. The service is the best and food is delicious. So sad that we are leaving the country and we won't be close to have that delicious panbazo or mojarra fish. We will miss you guys. Thanks

While visiting Salt Lake we Always eat here and the food is great, but this place isn't for everyone for some they would just walk in then walk right back out because it is crusty and dingy looking it seems kind of dirty but this place has the best chilies rellanos I have ever had that's why we keep going back . The food here is completely authentic it is food you would find if you went to a restaurant in a small town in Mexico you won't find Americanized Mexican food here no orange cheese in sight or glamorous cuts of meat or matching table ware what you get here is what you would get in Mexico though pieces of meat braised until tender in fragrant sauces and rendered fat, served with homemade tortillas everything is from scratch they even have aqua frescas . I gave this place a 4 star review because of the establishment appearing unkept and dingy , but the food is real and flavorful if you like greasy spoon hole in the wall secret spots only locals go to then you can appreciate the hard work they put into making there food from scratch . Prices are standard tacos are$ 2.50 and plates are between $ 10-12.

Some of the best food I’ve had in Utah. My boyfriend and I had tacos (Al Pastor, Carnitas, and chorizo) I would order all three again. Staff was very friendly and kind as well.

The service was excellent. The food was okay, not as yummy as I remembered, but okay. The fresh fruit drinks are good. It feels like Mexico 🇲🇽 inside

BEST TACOS OF MY LIFE. I have to go there every time I go anywhere near West Valley now that I've tried it a couple times. When I ate the tacos in the picture, I kept thinking I had no reason to go to any other restaurant of any kind ever again because no other restaurant could satisfy me. By the next day, I came out of that trance and I remembered my love for all foods, but still will never forget the best restaurant with the best tacos. For me, the dirtiness is a positive factor I use when describing the place to friends--that's how you know it's good! The meat is to die for. Get it with the beans on the side so you can taste it better.

Amazing food, amazing service! I used to come here maybe 10 years ago with my mom and it was bomb then and it is still so bomb now! The enchiladas are AMAZING 10/10 recommend for local, authentic food 🫶🏽

I grew up right in the Mexican border in California and this the only place I’ll go in Utah when I want actual Mexican food.

This is a small little gem on the border of West Valley. The food is just amazing, the prices reasonable, and the birria....oh Lord above, the birria was just exquisite. I haven't had this kind of quality Mexican food in quite some time, at this price point. Don't miss this location. You will NOT be disappointed. Truly, if I could give it 10 stars, I would.

The molcajete was delicious 😋 and the food was worth the wait. It does get a bit busy, so expect a long wait for your food.

This place beats Betos on my record book. Prices are similar and food taste 100% more authentic. Reminds me of home visits at my Abuelitas casa for a homewarming meal that melts in your mouth and spices up every savory taste bud.
