Great wieners, no schnitzel! This place is a classic.
I moved from southern California where these restaurants were common and loved it. Then I moved to Idaho was disappointed there were none around. So when I went Salt Lake for a trip I made sure to stop by. The food was as yummy as I remembered. They were so kind as to package the chili and the dogs separately so I take some back home. I hope one opens in my area eventually.
Usually good service, better in the past however this last trip took FOREVER staff did not put the corn dogs in so by the time we got home everything had cooled off but the corn dogs. Some guy was wrapped in plastic and they were having fun, fun is good if yiu don't forget your customers.
This place is the old school A-frame walk-up window store and is super cool. The drive thru was quick and the service was really friendly. What I was most impressed with was the cleanliness of the cooking area. Always instills confidence when you see a clean kitchen!
I love this location. Probably the oldest one around and the area is a bit sketchy, but the food is better here than I've had at other locations. Been going here for years, they seem to have good, long term employees.
Wienerschnitzel has the best chili dogs! I love 'em! They've been around forever! I remember as a kid in So. Cal., we'd go swimming and hit them for fries and hotdogs on the way home! Good stuff! And the staff at this location are great!
Great food resonable prices and good customer service. This was my first time trying Wienerschnitzel and I was quite impressed. Food was great and freshly prepared after I placed my order. Woould reccomend and will come again. The only complaint I have is the fries seem to have just a bit too much salt but it still tastes fine.
My friend and I go to Der Wiener about once a month from Davis County to get our chili cheese dogs and my classic dog. Love them! You need one of these in Bountiful.
As I was waiting for my food and I've been dreaming about my chill cheese hot dog, there was a young lady walking about with her icecream cone every few steps she took she would flip everybody off and I felt attacked, when she did that. but hot dog was so amazing, definitely coming back A+
First time ever having it and it was amazing! I wish they had one in Spokane washington- it would be a hit! Chili dog and chili burger mm mm! Quick and easy to order.
I've been a Wienerschnitzel customer since the 70s. This location was one of the first in Utah. When occasion permits, I like to stop here for a bite. Their chilli burger is good.
