With a 10 hour layover after missing my connection to Eugene, I ventured into the Salt Lake Brewing Company and ordered a beer with jambalaya. I received the food, but after realizing it was much to spicy for a flying stomach, Eric & Sandy, the servers were gracious enough to allow me to exchange for Baja Cod fish 🌮 tacos which were very good. I then ordered peanut 🥜 butter pie with whipped cream, which was very rich & tasty. The environment is pleasant, the food & drink good along with reasonable prices for an airport in 2023.
I can certainly recommend The Salt Lake Brewing Company to other travelers wayward or not. I would like to give thanks to Eric & Sandy for making a challenging day a little bit nicer. *They are certainly a credit to the establishment.
Above average airport bar fare. The cheese curds and burger were excellent. The potato wedges were above average. The canned beer is the way to go if you don't want to deal with the restrictions on draft due to state laws and alcohol percentages. Squatters is also for sure one of the best overall breweries in UT hands down. The service was friendly but did not rush us at all since we had a bit of a layover. It was extra helpful that at the point of ordering food and drinks, our server set time expectations for both in case we needed to hurry for a flight. He was correct on both estimates. Overall, if you want a good place for a bite and a drink, I would absolutely recommend it.
Stopped in for dinner and beer before my redeye flight. Everything was delicious and served promptly. Everyone was friendly. The apricot Hefeweizen was one of the best I've had in a while.
We had a couple hours to kill before our flight and Carly took great care of us. She kept drinks coming when we got low and had good recommendations and was so sweet. I wanted a twist on one of the drinks on the menu and between her and the bartender Tia they came up with the perfect spicy margarita! Will definitely be a place to stop anytime we go through SLC.
For an airport restaurant I was very pleased.
One of the best airport meals I’ve had.
I ordered the buffalo burger and my wife had the club . My burger was a solid 4.5/5 and my wife’s club was 4/5.
Service was 5/5
Value was 5/5
I just popped in for a beer between flights. I didn't order food because I wasn't hungry.
They have wide choice of beer can/tap and other drinks as well as various beer snacks.
I selected local double IPA and it was cold and nice.
Friendly staff, sport TV, good atmosphere.
Diane was very friendly and efficient. Our order was served in a timely manner. The elite tots and Greek salad was delicious. They had a decent beverage selection. Good experience here.
Good atmosphere with many supporters watching a hockey match. Great choice of beer for a fair price. Our kids took pasta marinara and cheeseburger with potatoes. Both were nice and only costed 7$. The jam balaya was spicy enough. Waiters are really nice and used to tourists waiting for their flights.
Great stop at SLC airport. A little Squatters Hop Rising IPA and a Vegan tofu bowl. Craft beer, vegan options served by friendly people at an airport. Perfect.
I didn't have any food so I can only speak on the beer, it was good. Not badly priced for an airport pint. Line looks long during lunch time but I only had a 5 minute wait in the evening.
