Opened until 8pm! We wanted hot cocoa on our visit to the Pearl on Saturday. Local coffee was the only place still opened and actually had Hot cocoa, it was delicious! The employees were friendly and kind. The atmosphere is laid back and cozy. I returned on Monday and it was great the second time around!

Always a great cup. Love that they make their syrups in-house. I find it best to add an extra shot of espresso if going with a large. Always a friendly person taking your order. Also really cool that they have Fellow products available for purchase.

I got the peppermint mocha, it was good but too light on peppermint it was $7 for a small cup but it was all about experience walking around the pearl 6/10 other drinks from there are good.

This is such a PERFECT neighborhood coffee shop. It’s generally super busy but the locals don’t mind—there’s always great company. It’s accessible and dog friendly. I love having work meetings there and it’s a perfect meet-up point when my friends and family go to The Pearl. It’s a must stop-in during all the holiday shopping rush for a hot cup of Joe.

Vibes were chill and it smelled so good as we approached the building. Naturally, it smelled even better inside. Got a salted caramel latte and it did not disappoint.

Stopped in today and was impressed. It was a on the busy side, but the staff was able to get everyone taken care of without a long wait. We ordered a regular latte and a latte with a shot of Mexican vanilla and enjoyed them while strolling through the scenic Pearl where it is located. The staff was friendly and the prices are actually not bad. Very comparable to most premium coffee shops. If you find yourself in the historic Pearl brewery and are wanting a good coffee, give them a try.

I had ice latte with Mexican vanilla syrup. Coffee was good. Service also good. Pretty popular I guess because the line is long, came here Sunday noon

I reviewed Local Coffee earlier. I go in once a week. They know I like their Americano coffee because they brew it on the spot rather than pre-brew. If I'm served Americano immediately at another coffee shop, I'll know it was brewed ahead of time. Brewsters know I like 1 Stevia with my coffee before I ask for it! Update, 3/20/2023. Good place to be on Monday mornings! Update: 6/5/2023. Dog friendly. Update: 8/7/2023. Friendly patrons, and always friendly brewsters. Update: 10/9/2023. New merchandise in shop. Update: 12/11/2023. Always exceptional service. Decorated for holidays.

The coffee was good and atmosphere is nice. Great spot to grab a coffee and get some work done or study. The area outside has plenty of tables.

Local Coffee Founders is by far my favorite coffee shop here in San Antonio. I love how over time I’ve been able to establish an amazing relationship with all the baristas who work there and they genuinely take interest in my life. Most of the time my order is ready before I even order. Deborah, Megan, Raquel, Luke, Amber, Devin, really the whole team are great. And the coffee is consistent and great quality. I highly recommend this place!

I had a latte with dark chocolate syrup (they don't have traditional, run of the mill syrup flavors) and it was delicious! My only regret is I didn't try the seasonal syrup flavor.

The coffee was excellent, and the service was top notch. The people who work here actually know about the coffee they are serving . . . and it is good! They made us feel like we were the only customers in the shop, when there were people lined up behind us. Try the single-origin espresso!

Great stop for a coffee. Plenty of space to sit inside and in the plaza.

Incredible coffee and delicious bakery items! The atmosphere is, in my opinion, a perfect calming atmosphere to catch up on paperwork or have a quick, or even, not so quick cup of coffee with an old or new friend. Highly recommended to any coffee cravers who visit the Pearl.

This is a quaint coffee shop. Very quiet even with a line of customers. The baristas are personable, sweet and quick with your order. Definitely a place comfortable enough to study. The tea is loose-leaf and steeped to perfection. Must try the Peach Blossom.

(Edit: Updated review. Depending on the time you go, it's not too busy, but expect a wait on the weekends. Totally worth the wait though. There's both inside and outside seating or you can opt to take your beverage with you while you explore The Pearl. The baristas are always friendly. The espresso is delicious. I'm a huge fan of their chai tea latte and honey latte, but lately I'll get a simple oat milk latte. They come out with really cool merch. Their cinnamon rolls are excellent and different from what you'd expect - they're more like a croissant-like dough. It's so nice that there's a Merit/Local coffee in this area.) Always delicious. Longer wait than usual due to this popular location.

This place was awesome! Ran into great Friendly staff. One of the Baristas named Tori was amazingly friendly and on point Customer Service. I would come back just because of her. I have dealt with other baristas there and they weren't as great. I live in the area and its a pleasure knowing this will be my go to because of her. :)
