Today I finally tried Sangria on the Burg for brunch and it was a fabulous foodie experience. Our server, Kristen, was very helpful in making our food choice as their brunch menu had very good options. I had their Brisket Hash and it was packed with flavor in every bite. I also tried their grapefruit Sangria made with Rose' and it was so refreshing and sweetened only with grapefruit and pineapple juice.
Midway through breakfast the owner checked in on our table, as he did with every table after they were served, and made sure everything was to our liking. It was a great experience from start to finish.
Sangria is a great neighborhood hang out— the Sangria flights are amazing and the simple menu is on point. Foodies will love the chef’s daily specials which never disappoint! Highly recommend for a casual night out... you’re sure to make some new friends!
Visiting my mom in the nearby hospital, my sister suggested this place to us. Ordered the sangria flight, and the taco trio for brunch. I'm a big guy that loves food and the tacos were flavorful and filling. Highly recommend here for anytime to grab a bite to eat or have a few drinks with friends.
One of my favorite brunch and dinner spots. I make it a point to take friends and family here. Try the mimosa flight, sangria, charred corn, pork belly tacos, pancakes, etc. You can't go wrong with anything they serve. It's all delicious.
I love everything about this place. By the numbers....Food: House-crafted, prepared 'a la minute', loaded with flavors, aromas and textures all intertwine deliciously. Staff: Friendly and attentive but what's more, they know the composition and preparation of each dish. They bring the passion from the kitchen to your table. Atmosphere: There's a certain indefinable charm...its neighborhood-ish, its casual, trendy, upbeat. I'm glad their in my neighborhood. Bon appetit!
The food is always amazing. My boyfriend had never been to the Burg before and he even remarked how delicious the food was. This time we were there for brunch and had the pork belly eggs Benedict and the smoked sausage pancakes. I had an adorable Mimosa flight and my boyfriend had the great coffee. Our waitress Chan’te was very helpful and had a great personality. We will be back to the Burg soon! Keep up the instaworthy work 👍🏻
I had the beef skirt tacos with mac n cheese as a side and my wife had the fried chicken tender tacos with grilled veggies as a side. Both of our meals were delicious. From here on out, when I come to San Antonio, I will make it a point to come back.
I enjoyed the tasty combinations here that are rarely found elsewhere. Many options marry ingredients you wouldn't consider compatible, but they work! Salad was fresh (had with brisket on mine) and the fideo soup with ever-changing combinations is always a warm welcoming side dish. I will be back to more items on the menu.
Love this place, food is great, drinks are awesome, parking sucks. But staff is attentive so it makes up for the parking..

The food was AMAZING! Lots of flavor in everything and very creative recipes used. The service was outstanding as well. I will definitely be back. I will try happy hour next.. my server told me about all the great deals they have for happy hour.
I don’t go often but when we do we are never disappointed and the food is soooo delicious a must try!! Even the drinks are good!

Oh my gosh, this place is awesome! The pancake tacos were our favorite and followed very closely by the Texas omelet with in-house smoked brisket. The kids got Mexican hot chocolate and fruity pebbles pancakes. Even the queso was amazing!! �
The menu sounds odd never would think the combination of flavor would work but I’m so glad i tried it � so delicious! Only thing was coffee was weak.
Exceptional culinary journey at Sangria on the burg the big taco salad with Asian flavors was a delightful surprise. Each dish was a perfect blend of spices, leaving our taste buds craving more. The ambience was inviting, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend trying their unique fusion delicacies
I really enjoyed the vibe and food at this mom and pop during my first visit. Truly going to miss it and looking forward to trying their brunch menu this weekend. The Sangria Taco Bowl and Margarita flights were amazing!

I enjoyed my first time dining at Sangria on the Burg! My waitress, Karolyn, was super sweet, knowledgeable of the menu, and recommended the brisket nachos. The brisket nachos was the BEST nachos I’ve ever eaten. Kudos to the chef because the brisket was absolutely delicious!!! Also, the chips were so fresh, so I’m sure they must’ve made them. Before I could get a good sip of my mango lemonade, my food was ready. I absolutely loved that. They have a bar but I wasn’t there for adult beverages. This will be one of my top spots for lunch. Thanks for such a great first time experience, Sangria on the Burg!!!
This place is pretty cool. Small and unique in its own way. Service was good, and they have some good local beers on tap.
The food is pretty damn good. I had their version of a chicken cordon bleu sandwich. It was delicious and filling. I also tried their loaded fries, and those were absolutely delicious. I enjoy a place that has great fries to compliment the main course.
I went back to try the tacos they had, and I enjoyed them very much. I chose the pork belly and brisket option. I do like a place where you can mix and match items. I would recommend this place for sure.
This place always offers a relaxed environment, the food is good and best of all the service is fantastic especially when you sit at the bar. Bartenders Ryan and Carissa were friendly and super helpful then there was Brittany who made sure to let us know about the food specials offered during the week.
Absolutely delicious! Best service. The beef fajita bowl and sangria taco bowl are so rich in flavor. Cesar is AMAZING! If you haven't tried Sangria you need to go!
We made reservations and they were able to seat us at our time. The food was spectacular and our waiter/bartender was kind and quick! I also got the grapefruit sangria and it was dellllicious. Everyone was super sweet and kind. All the food was definitely made fresh so it took a little time but it was piping hot and totally worth the wait! Also those fries 🔥 so good. Well seasoned and crispy!
The pickle burger is great. Loaded fries were great. Irish beer on tap was great.
The drinks were pretty good and so was the food. The food was a little pricey and not a whole lot of variety, but the happy hour prices were decent.
We flew into town from Virginia and went straight to the restaurant. We remembered it from when we were here in 2020. The food did not disappoint. We ordered pork belly and chicken verde tacos along with the daily fideo and charred corn. Chloe served our meal and was really wonderful - warm and attentive but not overbearing. She recommended guava empanadas with ice cream for dessert and they were out of this world. We will definitely be back.
