I ordered a lamb burger and would highly recommend it. It was one of the best burgers I've eaten it was not over cooked and dry and had great flavor. As a Dorper lamb producer I would have liked to see the Dorper name attached to the lamb burger. The beef burgers had the Angus name attached to the beef burgers burger.
The impossible burger was crazy awesome!! Really looked and tasted like meat! Everything on the menu looked great and there is more than one option for vegetarians! I definitely recommend this place if you’re trying to accommodate meat eaters and non meat eaters!! Yes the line was long, but that just goes to show how tastey the food is ;)
The Greek burger was amazing the fries and queso were great and the one of the best parts was the custom sodas they have and the waiter was always marking sure the cup was full and we had everything it’s a place that’s a must go when u have a chance.
There was a large crowd but the wait was minimal and the line moved quickly. The Hopdoddy IPA from the bar was great, my wife enjoyed The Skinny Dip drink, the burger was excellent, and sweet potatoes fries delicious. We sat outside and thankfully due recent rain it was cool & windy...though I noticed they had fans outside also. A friend had an issue with an undercooked turkey burger but the staff quickly addressed it without issue. I would go back.
I had the best burger of my life today. I'm usually a purest, ordering the classic cheeseburger anywhere I go. Today, I ordered the TURKEY BURGER. I don't usually like bacon, but it was so perfectly rendered and crisp without being dry. I don't usually like pesto and I certainly wouldn't usually eat sun-dried tomatoes on a burger since I'm not a fricking Californian! I also loathe arugula, but somehow all of these flavors came together perfectly! Love, love the local farming and fresh made food. Delicious!
Oh by the way, my 11 year old that is usually vegetarian-minded ate ALL of her burger as well!

The burger came pink in the middle and was delicious! I was hoping it'd be a little spicier.

The Atmosphere:
Recently I visited Hopdaddy for the first time in La Cantera! The Resturant & restrooms were very clean! Unique decor specific to the brand, the atmosphere was truly great! The restaurant can accommodate various group sizes comfortably!
Customer Service:
The team member who took my order was very professional & did a great job explaining why I should come back to try out more of the menu! Impressive!
The Burger
The bun is an important component of a great burger to hold everything together! The bun was perfect! Great taste, fresh condiments, the burger tasted really good! Everything was hot & fresh when served to me. As the fries cooled down they seem to get a lil hard. But they were definitely fresh when brought to me!
The Verdict:
San Antonio has some great competition for burgers! The San Antonio benchmark in my opinion is Mr. Juicy! In the Fry department Mr. Juicy emerges as the winner! The Classic burger at Hopdaddy was very tasty & juicy! The burgers are close in quality & may come down to personal preference for most. For the burger, I still prefer Mr. Juicy! I will go back to Hopdaddy to sample more of the burger bar! Hopdaddy is a strong contender! If you are in San Antonio & want to sample a great burger, Hopdaddy is a Must Visit (MV)! Enjoy 😉

I had a Doddy Melt and really liked it. We also ordered a Classic on a gluten free bun (great for our party) and a Double Bacon Jam. Both burgers were cooked to perfection and very filling
The draft beer selection is pretty good and prices are very reasonable.
Staff was very friendly and gave us great service.
Came during lunch time and it was surprisingly not packed at all. Lots of seating and open space. The food came out hot and quick. The fries portions are HUGE. I honestly thing the individual portion is enough to share for 2. The bread on the bun was soft and the meat was so juicy. We will definitely be back!!

I went back with my friend and her daughters on a Saturday afternoon and was very pleased. The burger was very tasty and the fries were hot and delicious. An employee named Bri came by our table and asked how the food was and if we needed anything so my experience was definitely better. I updated my review to reflect better feedback.
So I went on Veterans Day, however I did not take advantage of the free classic burger. I ordered the bacon jam burger and I was really disappointed in the burger and the fries were gross and barely warm. I didn’t want to stand in the forever long line to try and get fresh fries so I just sucked it up. Won’t be back.
The magic shroom burger was delicious quite a flavor explosion. Truffle fries and Brussels delicious as well

From beginning to end, A++.
Dude at the counter with the treble clef tattoo explained the menu to us and was very personable. Our burgers (classic and goodnight) were, chefs kiss, amazing.
Then we are sitting there enjoying our margaritas, and up comes this lady with a dessert shot. Peanut butter whiskey and whipped cream, chocolate sauce and nuts. Omg. Yum.
I think this was one of the better hamburgers I've had in a while.
I tend to gravitate towards smash burgers but found the quality of Hopdoddy was excellent.
The classic cheeseburger was great as were the fries. The brussel sprouts were good but a tad overseasoned.
I almost had a “When Harry Met Sally” moment here! The mushroom burger had goat cheese and basil pesto. Chef’s kiss! You can tell they use high quality meat! The fries are amazing and definitely need to share them! Or not…. If you are starving! They have a good beer selection and the pecan porter was a perfect pairing with the burger! I’ve also had the tuna burger in the past too and that is another solid choice! Definitely a must visit place for me!!!!
Pretty good! We didnt go at a super busy time the service was very quick and the staff super friendly. I think happy hour really ups this place to 5 stars. Burger was yummy, becareful with 'El Diablo' this is the first time I get the "spicy" burger and its actually spicy! Buffalo fries came with blue cheese, wish I had read the menu carefully, cus I hate blue chesee. Overall worth a visit!
I love this place!!! Everything seems so fresh and it's not a different vibe than most burgers joints. The drinks are a bit weird so don't get upset about it. I believe it's like a sparkling water with flavor in it so sprite and stuff is out of the question. Other than that it has a relatively small menu. And the the burgers are a bit pricey. For 2 people sharing one large fries and two burgers we spent about $32 dollars. So honestly I compare this to a fancy, delicious, less greasy version of 5 guys. As far as price goes. Oh but the burgers are a little bit small. They do have a doggy bowl pets outside??? I saw some at least. And high chairs for toddlers. Anyways the cons are not enough to make me give this place any less than 5 stars I loved it. Recommended to everyone.
Loud but really nice. We sat outdoors and it was a really nice day, the Cesar salad was delicious and my partner loved his burger. Overall really good and I would eat here again
