Just had lunch here and hands down was some of the best Thai food we have found here in San Antonio so far. Mind that my hubby's brain was melting, according to him. He did pick a curry, so that was on him. I can handle my spice and leveled up on my meal. The pot stickers which come with your meal were yummy, so my hubby says. I didn't have any I had the cheese rolls.
I had the pepper steak, very good. The red sauce they give you to dip was very tasty the best so far.
Such a cozy hidden gem!!
Super clean and comfortable space. Everyone there is friendly and welcoming. Food is amazing!! Quality meal down to the presentation. (We did take a bite out of the meals in the pics below lol) We will definitely be regulars here
The food at this establishment is so fresh and tasty. I'm vegetarian and have jumped head first into other Thai/Asian restaurants and was left disappointed, so I did a little research beforehand. I'm vegetarian and started with the lovers combo appetizer to get a taste for some classics (spring rolls, cheese puffs ((basically rangoons rolled up) and fried shrimp which had a coconut breading that my Korean boyfriend found surprisingly tasty), the sweet chili sauce was unique and tasty which proved this kitchen uses fresh and original recipes. I ordered the Pa Nang vegetarian with extra rice and tofu, my S.O. had the same entree with shrimp and tofu. Mine was American level spice, his Thai. These dishes were robust and filling! I was worried I would get a frozen bag, soggy vegetable medley but that's not at all what was presented; Everything from the bamboo shoots to the bell peppers had that nice, fresh crunch to it. I'm pregnant and the American level spice was perfect for me! My boyfriend agreed his Thai level would have been too spicy for me, but was very satisfied and concluded any more heat and it would've been too spicy for even him. Additionally, the tofu was NOT fried which I appreciate SO much!! Lastly, if you can't finish your meal they bring it to the back to box which adds a quirky, fine-dining touch to an otherwise small business feel. I would highly recommend this place!
One of the best Thai spots in all of San Antonio! This is one of those hole in the wall spots and you will definitely enjoy your meal! Please try the curry puff appetizer and the green curry! That said, everybody loved everything they had. The service was amazing!
Good spot for a quick work lunch! Food came out hot, fresh, and fast. I recommend everything on the menu. It's literally all good. Staff are extremely kind and helpful!
1st time visiting this restaurant I ordered a mango Boba tea and sticky rice mango dessert. The food and drink was very good the only issue I have is the paper straw it feels like I'm stuffing paper in my mouth when drinking a drink lol luckily I had a straw of another drink in the vehicle. (The actual boba was a bit stale not too fresh-it was ok)
(They are closed next month may 2023)
Always great, attentive service, fast, fresh and delicious food! 🔥LOVE IT!🔥

It seems like the more I drive around town, the more Thai restaurants I see; but this place here has been so consistently delicious that I don't stop anywhere else! 🤷‍♂️ Am I missing out? I know this isn't your usual dish, but I wasn't that hungry so I ordered their papaya salad and spring rolls and they were delicious! I ordered at a level 4 spicy which went well with the sweet n sour taste of the cold salad. The sweetness of the spring roll saice also helped tame it a bit, but I had added some heat to that as well from their spice tray, so I guess I wasn't thinking thing through very well. Normally I get the Garlic Chicken which is fantastic and most coworkers get Pad See Eew and are very happy. All of the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Great lunch specials as well. Stop by! 🔥👍
When we arrived it was encouraging to see a broken car window shattered all over the parking lot . Their sign that says Best Thai Food definitely doesn't live up to the hype. Decent service, we tried this restaurant because my friend said it was his favorite Pad Thai in the city, I will have to disagree with my friends taste. We tried several items on the menu including the coconut water excellent, spring rolls good, fresh rolls good, chicken Pad Thai good, sticky rice and mango excellent, combo fried rice excellent. The mail server at first started off in a pretty grumpy mood I think he was having issues with his co-worker or Mom towards the middle to end of the service he got much better more attentive and friendly and even asked if it was okay to give our son a sucker at the end of the meal. We won't be going back here as there are many other places in town we enjoy Pad Thai more but it was a pretty good experience.
This has been my favorite thai restaurant for the past few years. They make amazing food. Fresh, fast and full of so much flavor. I haven't had one thing I didn't like. They make amazing curry, soups and noodle dishes. The staff is very friendly and help you pick an item if you're not sure what you want. I've taken so many friends here and they've always returned.
You won’t find better Thai food anywhere else. The friendliest family and best service you could ever ask for. We love this place!
Food was great! Prices were a little high compared to others but it was worth it. Drunken noodles were full of flavor and service was very speedy. I would go again for sure!
Tried this place after a recommendation from my S/O. Enjoyed every minute. Got a seat in a quick manner, ordered, got some soup to my surprise and shortly after received my plate, Pad See Ew. Delicious, we left happy. I would recommend this place. Parking is a different issue however as well as getting there but interior is nice if that's a plus.
A gem of a restaurant located right off of Loop 410 and Nacogdoches that has some AMAZING Thai food. This place gives you the option of how hot you want to go with your dish versus serving them already seasoned too hot to eat. You must try the Pineapple rice dish and the fish is delicious. The staff is friendly, courteous and food is on point. Order some Singha beer to wash down the goodness.
Bangkok 54 is an unsung gem of a Thai restaurant. It is easily among the better and most consistent Thai establishments in San Antonio. The pad Thai is a stand out, as well as the green curry dishes. Avoid the beef dishes as they are good, but also the weakest meat feature. Check the menu before you arrive as panang and masamun curries don't appear in their dishes. Parking can be difficult as you can't access the lot without a u-turn if approaching from 410.

Ordered for pick up based on local reviews. Food was incredible and very fast. Totally worth it and we’ll be back again. Totally recommend! We got the #14 and #48! Loved them both.
Great taste. Laid back atmosphere. Not so quiet, not so crowded. You can choose spice level from 0 to 6. 4 is Thai spicy which many cannot handle. 6 is Death valley. 3 is good, they. All it American spicy.
We tried Pot stickers (the best appetize), coconut shrimps (not loked much). In the main course I recommend Pad thai, drunken noodles, red or green curry, or you can also try fried rice if toy like.
Their iced thai coffee is good.
Overall VFM.
Got there right at whatever they opened for dinner. Had a whole bunch of sinus issues because of allergies kicking in the last couple days. So I got hot tea wonton soup and pad Thai. And both the pad thai and wonton soup were spicy number four. Left being able to breathe!
