Wow! MM SA deserves 6 stars. The Pizza is amazing, toppings are generously perfect, crust is delicious, sauce and cheese on point. One of the best pizzas I have had ever, but what makes this a 6 star location are the people. Led by GM who is there and willing to do anything, but also taking time to ask how you are enjoying the food. The effect of this leadership is seen in a staff who are provided happy amazing service.
Jacob was a fun, friendly and great server. The pizza is delicious. The spinach artichokes dip with bacon added is bomb (recommended touch by jacob.) Got the Philosophers Pizza, a local only, and it is awesome. Recommend trying it.
Ordered a dairy free cheese, jalapeno, spinach, and pepperoni pizza.
Even though they forgot the pepperoni, the pizza was good. Shawn was a sweet server and offered us vegan ranch, which tasted like normal ranch.
I am obsessed with how everything is mushroom themed. 10/10 coming here again. Ggez
I went to Mellow Mushroom few weeks ago with my family who came to visit me here in San Antonio. We decided to give this pizza place a try. And I have to say the pizza was very delicious and the management and staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. This is probably one of the best pizza places I've eaten here in the Alamo City. Both my family and I will be coming back again real soon.
One of my FAVORITE pizza joints in SA. The atmosphere is awesome, love all the artwork on the walls. And the service is A+. I absolutely recommend the Great White and the Pacific Rim pizzas.
Bartender Drew made us feel at home and the drinks he made were perfection! We loved the fresh tasty pizza and enjoyed the atmosphere. It was a nice little bonus that the drinks were on special on the weekend! It's hard to find that!
This is literally the best pizza restaurant I have ever been to in Texas!!! My friend and I brought our dogs to the restaurant with us because they have outdoor patio seating, but it started to rain very bad and we were gonna take our food to go instead of eating at the restaurant. Our nice server was very friendly and helpful by inviting us to eat inside of the restaurant with our dogs. We were very surprised by the place letting us go inside to eat because we weren’t going to expect that is even allowed so we didn’t even ask. But the server and the other workers were super friendly and very caring. Not only the customer service was great the pizzas that we ordered were delicious! I will definitely come back when I go to San Antonio again!!!! Everyone must go there or at least go try this place when you go visit 😊
The crust is super thick and a little doughy. Will try thin crust next time. Not the BEST pizza but the atmosphere was wonderful 👌
We came to dine inside for lunch and also brought home some wings and pizza. My daughter is lactose intolerant so they did offer dairy free cheese. The fungi pizza she got she really liked with the dairy free cheese. Some dairy free cheeses aren't that good but this one was. I got a veggie calzone which was very good. The size was good for a hungry person or two people could share it.
It was my first time everyone was very friendly and helpful. I was ordering to go and was told to order my food at the bar. The bartender was very nice and very helpful and knowledgeable about the history behind the restaurant and as well about the menu. I was able to try the pineapple express drink, Cloud 9 wings and a Pizza Burger. The name on the menu is so unique. Finally I got my order and I had to leave but before the leaving location the art and the theme of the restaurant is so mellow. Did I mention how good the food was omg 😱 let's just say it didn't make it home. The food was so comfortable and filling.
Great pizza and an impressive beer selection. We had a House Special and Pepperoni, Cheese Bread, and a Greek Salad. The food was fantastic, fresh, and delicious. The service was extremely good. Very informative as to wait times for orders, quick to refill drinks, and very friendly. Highly recommended! Rafferty was absolutely amazing. He took great care of our family!

We ordered the Spinach Artichoke dip, Mel’s Burger with cheese, and the Sausagefest Calzone. All was wonderful and the bread dipper for the dip was amazing! The calzone was also HUGE and made for wonderful leftovers later.
Very friendly and clean. The food was so good. We ordered cheesy bread, medium mighty meaty pizza , cloud 9 wings, and 5 naked wings. Pizza was full of toppings. They did not hold back. Wings were baked perfectly. We will definitely be back.
I'm a ❤️loyal customer you definitely won me over with the HOLY SHIITAKE pizza 🍕🤤 every bite I take is mouthwatering and you can taste every unique ingredient in every bite especially that sauce on top. I love pizza and you guys offer a variety of unique flavors and your pizza and ingredients are top quality and I appreciate all the hard work you guys do here! I was recommended to try the spinach artichoke dip and it was so amazing I wanted more!! Your staff is friendly and gives great over the top customer service, our drinks were always filled and was always updated on the waiting time of our pizza. the restaurant has a great atmosphere and I love the artistic artwork inside. Love Mellow Mushroom! Their pizza dough has just the right “chew” to it for me. Slightly doughy, yet crisp too. Today our server was Drew, he is a great asset to Mellow Mushroom! He took our order and kept us informed about how long until we received our pizza. He kept our drink glasses full and even brought a bowl of water for Spike.
Our pizza was great, it looked so good we all grabbed a slice before I could get a photo. So I have a photo of just half of it.
Glad we stopped in for lunch!
I absolutely love mellow mushroom the pizza is always amazing, the atmosphere is also nice . I am very upset that they have closed so many locations please bring it back to the Houston area !!! If you are looking for your new pizza spot this is it !
