Super friendly staff, best prices, best food. Truly a gem.
This is one of my favorite breakfast stops when we visit San Antonio. The breakfast tacos are amazing! My daughter is gluten free and loved the corn tortillas for her tacos. Excellent service and good!!
We went during the week to find out they didn't serve lengua or cabrito during the week but they brought us a plate of carnitas to make up for it so it was worth the drive from Austin
Ate the Latina plate 1 crispy taco, 1 puffy taco and rice and beans, everything was delicious, will be back 👍🏼
I usually go have breakfast before work a couple times a week. The food is great and the staff is very friendly and polite. Great environment to bring your family and friends to.
Love this place! I've come here almost once a week for the past 2 years during lunch. The food never disappoints and experience is always pleasant.
The best food I ate costillas a la planca, with onions and bell peppers and guacamole
Great portions. Price is cheap, delicious. Home made tortillas (corn and flour) Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to eat menudo. Machacado and steak a la mexicana is what we had for lunch. We definitely planing on coming back. Liliana was our server, she was amazing. Our coffee cup was always above half full.
The food is enough to bring me back but this is one of the coziest environments I’ve experienced from a restaurant in a long time. They had a fantastic duo performing all kinds of songs including Christmas songs. They even did an adorable rendition of Rudolph the red nose reindeer for the kids where they brought out a cute money puppet. It’s a perfect place for the family with delicious food. Tortillas are homemade and super tasty
Service was friendly and helpful, even with management on the floor. Although it was loud inside the restaurant, I was fortunate enough to sit near a music performer who made up for the much-needed atmosphere. Food was... well, it could use a revamp - warmth and tastiness are the keys to great food. The food can use more fluffier tortillas, and chips and salsa in a bigger bowl or tray. Yes, the only saving grace food-wise were the chips and salsa - delicioso!
This was my first time here because of a friend. We were a party of four and it was pretty busy since it was 4rd of July, but it was worth the wait. It’s is a small Mexican restaurant and you can feel the vibe right away. They had live music and the ambiance was cool. It was clean and they got an award for that. The food was good and we got it promptly. The service was really good. My only suggestion is they should update the decor. Mexican culture is full of colors and I couldn’t see them here. Overall it was good so I may go back again.
The food is decent. However, it depends on the waiter or waitress that serves you. Sometimes, they don't even come around and have to flag them down.
I remember eating here as a young adult. Bean and cheese nachos. And the Steve's Special.
Great eating.
This is the Carne Guisada plate.
The food was great. This place is definitely a hidden gem. Well kept, clean, friendly and cozy overall. Fajitas were excellent, we will be back. They play oldies music and have an old pizza hut vibe. Salsa is very good. Only complaint, no wifi.
Love this place! Great food and friendly staff!
Everytime I visit San Antonio, I ask my friends to take me here. Absolutely the best breakfast in Texas if you ask me. Their chilaquiles are my absolute favorite!
There are two sections, so pretty big overall. The food is very good, fresh tortillas and food cooked to order. We happened to be there on Sat and got to enjoy the live music. The place was crowded so food took a little long, but nothing too complain about. The chips and salsa were plentiful so no worries. The chicken we ordered was tender and the enchiladas verdes were very tasty. Location can be a bit hard to get to if you not familiar with it. Great prices and friendly staff. Recommend if your in the area.
We go every weekend, the plates & tacos remind me of my grandmother's cooking including the handmade tortillas and mole. The live music creates a warm and fun atmosphere. I am from Mexico and this restaurant is a hidden San Antonio local gem. Also during the winter they have authentic capirotada, fideo and tortilla soup.
Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in San Antonio. Great prices amazing service and very delicious. Don’t expect super fancy it’s nice. The restaurant is in an old Pizza Hut building and the interior is Liberace meets Mayan Temple very unique just like the amazing food
The food was delicious. The service was outstanding.
Free parking very friendly people.
