This is one of the best Sushi places I have eaten at anywhere in the world. Nano and his team are so creative and artistic, it is sometimes difficult to eat the beautiful masterpieces they create. It is so much fun to just let them create you a special dish custom to your liking. If you very fresh Sushi, in a quite but very customer friendly environment, then this is a must place to visit.

Tons of sushi roll options with high quality fish and fast service. I got the Sake cafe roll and the combination of the spicy tuna, salmon, avocado & jalapeño with the spicy crawfish on top is brilliant. the fry adds depth and a good crunch. The inside of the place is cute, and lots of space. There is free parking outside as well.

One of the best sushi spots in San Antonio! We loved our appetizers. Sweet tea was perfect which is a big deal for us. And the sushi rolls were delicious.

Impromptu decision to head to @sakecafesushibarsa for dinner tonight. It's been a few years since hubby and I visited. First time visit for Dad. Happy hour ends at 6pm and includes drinks and most of the food. I had the Ozeki Peach Sparkling Sake, Hubby had Kirin Light, and Dad his Lemonade. Hubby had a miso soup. We all shared the Shrimp Tempura. We got Dad the Unagi Don. Hubby and I shared Sashimi (Hamachi, white Tuna, Salmon) and Ikura Nigiri. Also the House Roll. All was fresh and yummy! Just enough food!

This Japanese restaurant brings the love and passion of Asian cuisine to the Stone Oak area (North Central San Antonio). Definitely, a great place to eat on any occasion and well worth a try for families and friends to enjoy. The menu is simple but complex with dishes that range from classic sushi rolls to noodle dishes that will explode off your palate with flavor and excitement! The best part is watching experienced expert chefs work their culinary magic (right in front of you), with enthusiasm, care, and conviction for their creations...all for you to enjoy. 🇯🇵 💙

This was our eighth time patronizing this Sushi 🍣 restaurant. It is always a delicious place to dine. The shrimp tempura 🍤 is fabulous as an appetizer. The miso soup is delightful as a starter too. Service is always spot on. The Sushi is second to none. As always, we will definitely return...Simply Love it!

Wow!!!! This place is rated high for a reason. When we walked in, I felt like we were the main focus. The staff is super attentive. I got to order my first ever sushi boat (yay for Mother’s Day!) and the sushi was extremely fresh! The rolls were amazing and well balanced and the nigiri and sashimi were “chef’s kiss!” And y’all! My son voluntarily ate the broccoli from his chicken teriyaki! That NEVER happens! Rounded out the mean with a Kirin Ichiban and my husband has the Asian pear sake! We WILL be back!

Sushi was amazing. Service was great. My date was hot. 4/5 stars though because I thought the lobster tail was going to actually have lobster in it (it’s just the shell for presentation), instead it comes with fried chunks of lobster. Still delicious, just a tad misleading for a $22 roll.

Food is always good here, some service is lacking but the food makes up for it. Would recommend it for a work meeting or a casual date or by yourself.

This place is GREAT! Great atmosphere, service, music and food. For 15 bucks I got miso soup, ginger salad tempura veggies, 6 piece spider roll and 6 piece shrimp tempura roll! Definitely a Lunch Special super bargain! We'll be back!!!

Great sushi. Love the sushi tower. Can’t go wrong with the rolls. Good selection of non sushi Japanese options.

Very good place to grab some sushi! It's kind of a hidden gem. Super friendly staff and very high-quality food. The prices are a bit high but nothing too bad. I've been going for quite some time, and i guess, like everything else, it has gotten more expensive. It's still worth checking out. It's one of my favorites! Especially their bento boxes!

This place is my favorite restaurant in San Antonio. Incredible. I normally only eat the same thing over and over at most restaurants but I keep trying new things here, and one time I ordered on door dash and was sent the wrong item but it was so good anyway I didn’t even care! Everything I try here is INCREDIBLE from the sushi rolls to the different dinner plates. You must try this place

Amazing selection all around from noodles, rice, rolls, soups, salad, and apps. Very fresh and creative, not just the same old selections featuring a different name. We love sushi and have been to many of the popular spots in town but I must say this is my favorite by far. Service is great and prices are too. We will definitely be back soon!

Nice Japanese restaurant in Stone Oak. Walked in and was immediately greeted and given the option to pick any table as it was not crowded. Waitress was very prompt in bringing drinks and taking the orders. She was very friendly and did a great job of constantly stopping by. Ordered the soft shell crab and calamari frito as appetizers. There's not many places to get soft shell crab, so had to try it. It was well-prepared and plated nicely. The batter was very crunch and the soft shell crab very flavorful. The calamari frito was a nice surprise too. It was thicker and sushi grade squid instead of the thinner calamari at most places. For the meals, ordered the Karaegi Chicken, Combo Yakisoba, Mini Chirashi, and two pieces of Yellowtail sushi. The mini chirashi was a nice mix of 3 pieces of tuna, salmon, and yellowtail. The sushi was all very fresh and of good quality. The seaweed salad that came with it was also really good; I'd even recommend that as an appetizer or side dish. The yakisoba bento meal came with a small salad, gyoza, and small rolls. The salad had a nice dressing, gyoza was nice and crispy, and rolls were what you'd expect. The yakisoba noodles were good, but the meats were a little dry. The karaegi chicken was different and in no related to karaage chicken. It must be their own dish as I'm not familiar with an actual karaegi chicken. Instead of the deep fried karaage chicken, the karaegi chicken is marinated and served in the sauce. It reminded me of a chicken dish you may receive at a Chinese restaurant. Not that it was bad, but was different than I expected. Overall, good experience as the sushi was of good quality and grade. Service was great. I'll probably return and order from the sushi menu.
