Awesome food and friendly service!! The chicken in the tortilla soup is very flavorful!! Tortillas smell and taste so good!! The rice and beans are spot on, and the salsas are great!! The red salsa has just the right amount of spiciness that greets your tongue!! The chicken crispy tacos are outstanding!! Also outstanding is server Theresa, she is attentive and respectful. A wonderful meal all around!!!!!
Great restaurant with amazing enchiladas! The plate portions are not very large but you will be satisfied! I need to return to try more menu options. But thanks to the staff that made me feel welcomed and the food, service and table placement is great!
First of all, Omar was amazing. He did everything we asked and was very attentive. The food was great. I loved the Charo beans. I wasn't overly fond of the refried beans, which my friend loved. The next time I'm in San Antonio, I will come again.

Dinner experience update:
We came back for my son's birthday dinner on Tuesday night and we were seated promptly. Our waiter was Sergio and he was a good waiter. I had a Michelob Ultra and it was served well without too much foam and my son had the Mangonada margarita and said it rocked. We had the Queso Flameado as an appetizer and it was sooo good. My son had the Chimichanga dinner and said it was perfectly cooked and amazingly delicious. My daughter had two bean and cheese tacos and a chicken fajita taco and loved every bit of it. The refried beans are tasty and the cheese taste like mild cheddar/cheddar cheese. I had the Sarita's Combination Plate and it was good as well. The enchilada was made well. The picadillo taco could use more potatoes but it was very good. My husband had the Spinach Enchiladas and they were amazingly delicious. They're reminiscent of cannelloni. The only thing that would make them better is if they add chicken to them. I definitely will be ordering the Spinach Enchiladas and adding chicken next time we visit.
Original review: Have visited a few times and have loved it very time. The wait staff are very friendly, intuitive and attentive. As for the food, the food here closely reminds me of food in Mexico and I love it. Only difference is they use mild cheddar cheese predominantly instead of e.g. white Oaxaca cheese. Not a negative though as a negative would be if they used gross cheese like American. Refried beans are delicious as well. The chips with the salsa taste fresh and are served hot. The meats taste delicious (beef, chicken fajitas, wings, etc.) It tastes as if they use Lawry's season salt and that makes for damn delicious flavor in cooking. I've had different drinks and they've all been delicious, but highly recommend their watermelon mojito, which is making my mouth water now thinking about it because when it was served to me it filled my nostrils with an aroma of delicious minty-sweetness, which added to the experience and presentation of the drink itself. Their sopapillas are the damn best we've had anywhere and the whipped cream served with it is an amazing touch. I truly hope business picks up at this restaurant and they make it in the long-run because it's damn good and deserving . I will update with photos soon. Please note: I don't have a photos because when I eat here and dig in so quickly, it's so damn good I forget to take photos.
Chips and salsa, tea, and chicken enchiladas were delicious. A little overpriced, but it was worth it. Highly recommend this restaurant for lunch.
Lunch on Saturday was not very busy, the service was quick and the staff do a great job waiting and checking in on you. They offered me a to-go drink at the end of it too! The food was very good, and their chips were fresh and warm, and the salsa was so delicious! Portions were sized well too, they don't skimp!
Sarita's is a fantastic restaurant. The food is great, the beer is super cold and the margaritas are huge and amazing. Service is some of the best in the city, you feel welcome and your business feels genuinely appreciated. Mona is an amazing server and we all look forward to seeing her when the night crew rolls in after 7am. **They make a cucumber martini and it's crazy good! My 2nd favorite drink next to the the El Pedrino margarita 🍹
Overall nice experience. Quick to be seated, friendly service, food came out quick and was plated nicely. The food is fresh and hot and very good. Would stop by again if I were in the area.
First of all, i love the atmosphere and the beautiful decorations everywhere. It has a bar in the middle of it all. The food is delicious. I went twice for breakfast and for lunch and both plates were amazing and filled with delicious flavors. Great prices. The coffee was nice. The waiter, amazing and attentive to my needs. I really recommend this place if you want to catch a quick bite. I recommend the rancheros eggs and the meat stew. You gotta go here. And, the bathrooms are cleaned and neat. You will enjoy it here guaranteed.

Wow!! Just found my favorite mole plate ever! We ordered Chicken Enchiladas with Mole sauce delivered. The chicken was tender and falling apart. The Mole sauce was perfectly spiced, not too spicy. It left the mouth pleasantly warm. The rice was perfectly spiced as well, not dried out, full of flavor. But...those beans...the best refried beans I've ever had! Smoky flavor, bits of beans throughout, every bite of this meal made me happy dance!
First time here. Very location. The wait staff was very friendly. The speed of the from order placed to received was excellent. I ordered Huevos Rancheros, the food was good, the Ranchero sauce tasted like tomato sauce, once I put the green salsa it was much better. I would still visit again.
Went in for the first time, we were immediately seated. The service was on point and the food was delicious. When we showed up a mariachi band also had just shown up so we got a treat of some beautiful music and singing throughout our dining experience. I would definitely go back again.

I'm visiting from Atlanta and staying at the Marriott Courtyard nearby. The bartender at the hotel said Sarita's margaritas were awesome. She was right. The food was good and reasonably priced. The staff was outstanding. Friendly, great recommendations, and went above and beyond making sure I was happy. The house margaritas are fantastic. I would definitely come here again.
This place is Open to Dine in. Dinner was delicious. It felt really comfortable eating out. Social distancing was not a problem. I saw people enjoying drinks and dining in with smiles and enjoyment. The staff was kind and fast with serving the meals. The food was hot and really satisfying. The place is large enough and has a small bar in the middle. Has, dine in, happy hour and a Full Menu.

Always great food ..Alejandro was great... the beer was ice cold that's always a plus. Tortillas and butter yum. The fajitas were Juicy and tender on my plate that had the enchiladas which were great. Love food when it's too hot to eat so we can cool down in front of me. Nothing worse than cold food. This is one of our Staples that we go to on a regular basis. I always enjoy the food as well as the atmosphere... sometimes they have live music... If you're always cold- take a sweater, its deliciously cold in here. always a good time even if its just you or you and friends... Order the beef nachos... Get the green hot sauce if you want spicy.. .Ask about specialty margaritas 😊
UPDATE... still a favorite stop. And im not alone.
UPDATE... (Full disclosure, been there several times since update One) still serving up great food with great service. Antonio was very attentive. It was actually not as cold as usual, which made this particular friend happy, hope to have the polar breeze back on the next visit.
