Excellent food and customer service! We tried the ommelete, huevos a la veracruzana, and huevos azteca. They were really good. Even their chips and salsa were great. We also tried the cafe de olla (coffee) and it was delicious. We loved the customer service and overall experience. Will definitely go back when visiting San Antonio.

I went in today for lunch with my niece and we both loved it. The service this afternoon was A+ and so was the food. Hands down the best tortilla chips ever. I had enchiladas and a shrimp taco, sooooo good! The red Chile sauce was perfect. My niece had the beef fajitas and the meat was tender, juicy and flavorful. We will definitely be back. I wish I would have has room to try dessert! Maybe next time.

I’ve been to this restaurant many times. The owners and staff are very friendly and try hard to please their clients. The food is made fresh...never frozen. So if they are busy, you could have a wait. This is not a fast food restaurant. The kitchen is open to view the cooks preparing the plates. The margaritas are excellent and the bartender is open to making unique margaritas that are not on the menu. Ask for an “avocado margarita!!!” I overheard another costumer request it and also asked for one. It was great!

Good Mexican food, great outdoor patio, great service, great for large groups! I scheduled a graduation party here on a Saturday afternoon for a group of about 30 people. Rafael, the owner, as well as the staff, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. They gave us the whole outdoor patio, which is huge, could easily fit double the amount of people we had, and it's beautiful! The group was able to order whatever we wanted and we paid per menu item (NOT charged per person like most restaurants will do for groups above 20, which was wonderful!). And the food and drinks were GREAT! Thank you, Casa La Bonita, for making our party wonderful and memorable. The only con: traffic going west on I-10 from San Antonio is terrible with the current construction work (not the restaurant's fault). Just a pro-tip to check your GPS for the quickest route and give yourself extra time to get there.

Great food staff was a little slow. For not having so many people there at the time. It was not enough to no make me come back

Highly recommend this restaurant, the food is always delicious and the service is impeccable! We’ve visited for dinner and our family regularly enjoys their Sunday brunch. They offer a great variety of authentic Mexican dishes and we’ve never been disappointed! We also appreciate that they are so pet friendly. We bring our dog to spend Sunday brunch on their outdoor patio. The staff is always very attentive and even bring our pup a bowl of water. So happy Casa Bonita is in our area of town!

It takes a little while for the food, but only because it is freshly made, delicious, and the best Mexican restaurant in San Antonio! The owners are from Mexico, and while you wait love to talk with you about the place and their history. The workers are nice, the building is clean, and the food is worth the wait.

We ordered the fish tacos and mini tacos, and despite the area and location, my mother and I were impressed. Tasted homemade! The chips are made at the restaurant, and the beans (which I never eat unless my mother makes them) were delicious and so flavorful. The restaurant is clean and spotless, and the service is great. Dont worry, servers speak both english and spanish! Overall, great experience and beautiful views at night. Will return amd advise all to try it out. You won't regret it!

The only place says "Hot Plate!" and its actually true! Our food was awesome tonight and had so much flavor. The heat was there, but there was so much more going on in each dish that made the heat secondary (thats a good thing!). I hope Casa La Bonita sticks around for a long, long time!

We have always eaten at other locations. Decided to try La Bonita. Pleasantly surprised. I tried carnitas, very flavorful and tender. My husband tried cochinitos which is shredded pork with s special sauce. Neither of us were disappointed. Viewing the menu, already selected my next excursion. Family owned. Very friendly and attentive.

The service was impeccable and the food was extremely well prepared. The owner spent time talking to us both in Spanish and English (my husband is Chileno). We will be going back. Best food thus far. Has real Blue Corn Tortillas.
