Delicious food and nice atmosphere. A hidden gem. A little pricey compared to some places but well worth it if you have the extra expendable income. Wife and I celebrated our anniversary here and would definitely recommend it.

Two of my girlfriends and myself attended Erica Chatwoods event on Tuesday evening, San Antonio Housewives, housewivesinthecity. Lots of fun there, afterwards took it into dining room and had dinner. Fabulous food and service, recommend to all, I will be going back

I can’t say enough GREAT things about this place. The food and service are AMAZING! Chef Alex & his staff take pride in the restaurant. He takes time to frequent the dining area to chat with customers. My husband & I are regulars. We always ask to be seated in Yesenia’s section. Great wine list also. Nice neighborhood restaurant that is gaining a well-deserved reputation!
Me and my fiance went there and enjoyed the food the people were so friendly great service that is so hard to find restaurants now days or just anywhere the service was great and that's what will bring me back plus the food
Great food! It was our first time there & we will be back again. Great salads, great bread & the chicken parmigiana was delicious!! next time we'll try to leave room for dessert.

We were pleasantly surprised by this place. It's hard to believe a restaurant in a strip mall is so good that we want to come back every night for supper. The service was excellent, the bread and dipping sauce were outstanding and our entrees were gone in just a few minutes. I can't wait to go back tomorrow night!
The parmesan encrusted artichoke hearts are to die for. Truthfully, everything we have had has been great.

It was my big brother’s birthday. Actually we had two family members celebrating birthdays so I stopped by to ask if it was possible to make a reservation to eat in their wine room as it was a little more secluded and not so noisy. Several of our family members have issues with their hearing, so this was a problem at other restaurants. I wanted us to have an opportunity to talk to each other and enjoy each other‘s company and celebrate properly!
The chef was really very accommodating, and very kind even when we had to drop a couple of people off the reservation at the last minute - they were still so accommodating. It was quiet and the food, as always, is outstanding. I really don’t know why this restaurant is not mobbed.- ALWAYS!!
It’s a neighborhood area restaurant, it’s adorable. The food has always been outstanding, ever every time I have visited! I mean honestly, I don’t mind paying money for food when I can leave the restaurant and know that I have eaten a really, really great meal.
Do yourself a favor, stop by and show them some love - the food is poetry. The service is always attentive and friendly. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you Chef, for making our family birthday outing, memorable❤️

Went there for a special dinner. Loved it, will be back! Seasonal cocktail and wine list were great, and the menu offered too many great choices to choose from. The champagne lobster tail (pic included) was a refreshing and new delicious experience. The execution followed through for sure.
Made birthday dinner reservations a few days prior and they were able to accommodate our large party. The complementary bread was delicious. All entrees were made great and flavorful.
So happened to notice Pesto Ristorante while taking our son the restaurant in the same square. My husband and I decided to try it out. We were very impressed with everything! The service, food and everything was great! It’s almost like being back in Europe! We loved it so much that we will definitely be coming back again.
Was in the neighborhood unexpectedly and decided to come out here for lunch. Customer service is great. Food is decent not salty and feels fresh, the price was also reasonable. Would love to be back again! Forgot to take pictures because we ate really fast

Rosa and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pesto Ristorante, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The customer service and food were both by far some of the best that I have ever encountered.
Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was immediately taken aback by the stunning scenery. The ambiance was top-notch, with elegant décor and a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
But what really stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment Rosa and I walked in, we were greeted warmly and made to feel like a valued guest. Our server was particularly outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, and always made sure that our needs were met. Her knowledge of the menu and recommendations were spot on.

The food was amazing. We loved the atmosphere. We went during lunch. It was peaceful and the hostess/waitress made sure we felt at home while taking care of our table. We will definitely add this to our list of favorites.
We went for Sunday brunch and had the place to ourselves for the first hour. It's a nice space and the food was very good, although the menu options were a bit limited
Excellent people who make the food and serve you own the restaurant. We are still careful about being exposed to too many people so generally do take out, which is always excellent. Pesto is a hidden gem in Olmos Park--please help find ways to make it known! PS: It is an excellent place to meet someone for food and conversation, which we occasionally do. And as someone else noted, the availability of the wine room for a special event is a great plus for a group.
I come here pretty frequently and literally everything I have had here is amazing.
I like the artichoke balls and occasionally order an extra plate to go because they're just that good. The stuffed shells are exquisite, the manicotti is delightful and their seafood is easily the best in the city.
My favorite is the sesame crusted tuna: it's just really, really good.
Today I had the margherita pizza. Every single ingredient was top quality and adds its own distinctive notes to the flavor. They just really care about the quality and it shows.
I recently dined at Pesto Ristorante and had the pleasure of trying their Chicken Romano with capers dish. It was an absolute delight! The chicken was tender and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the tangy capers and rich sauce.
The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the combination of flavors was truly exquisite. I would give this dish a solid 5 stars without a doubt.
To top off the fantastic meal, I also enjoyed an expertly crafted old-fashioned cocktail that added a touch of classic elegance to the evening. Pesto Ristorante’s attention to detail and culinary expertise certainly make it a top-notch dining experience. Five stars all around!
The food is superb & the service just as equally. We enjoyed the Trio Appetizer & the Salmon with Pesto Pasta - Delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant. I’ll definitely be back!
I’d add the Crème Brûlée is the best I’ve had; & I’ve had it in France.
Docked it because the mussels were really salty and the calamari did not taste that fresh, but it was the best Caesar salad I have ever had and great service.
This is a wonderful place to eat. The selection is great. Their wine selection is good and their bar service is good too. Just go try it once. You will want to go back.
