Ate here for the first time, walked over from the Methodist hospital. Good place to eat, about a 3 minute walk. Enchiladas were good, reminded me of Browns on Hackberry that closed years ago. The carne guisada was very tender, and had good flavor. Food came out super quick despite them being busy. Plates were affordable.. decent prices on everything. Very cheap a la carte items..
Carne guisada was so delicious the meat is tender, very flavorful. Homemade tortillas. I totally recommend it. I will be back soon!
Family atmosphere and very hospital. You can tell you have your regulars because they address them by their name and customers from around from different businesses by the way they are dressed.
Food; I’ve only had breakfast so far and the first time I ordered six different tacos and all of them were delicious. My favorite is the Denver taco and I add potatoes with salsa verde. You talk about homemade tortillas, these are homemade tortillas like my grandmother’s. Looking forward to trying their lunch, my coworkers really enjoy the enchiladas.
Lucky to have stumbled upon this restaurant. The service was great and the food was DELICIOUS!! Those homemade tortillas were no joke. I am definitely coming back with the test of the family.

Really good! Portions were perfect and not oversized. The carnitas were a little dry but still good. The criapy taco was delish! The rice and beans were good too! And the service was Top Notch!
the carne guisada is well above average. it’s difficult to find a place that cooks carne guisada well. i hate when carne guisada is dry and chewy. everytime i order it here, its always very soft and tender.

The dreaded San Antonio tortilla pancake. I like my tortillas with more lard/shortening and not so fluffy.
This place makes them almost like I like them. It smells great inside and outside. I would love to live behind this place.
Bacon Egg and Cheese (3 stars): bacon was perfectly crispy, and they give you a whole slice with the order. Eggs were meh. No seasoning. Cooked in a batch and then scooped in.
