Awesome experience here like always, just like in the past when we came here years ago! The service is awesome the food is amazing, the dishes are presented well and served hot! I would like to give a shout out to our waitress Ana, who was magnificent in attending to our tables needs and attention! It was not so busy towards the end of the night which is perfect for us! We like it a little quiet after a football game! Thanks again. We'll see you again soon. 😋

Chips were hot, made the savory salsa very good. El Rodeo Super Nachos, with beef fajita. Everything came on the side: sour cream, avocado slices and jalapeños slices. Refried beans tasted homemade. Fajita was very well seasoned; meat was not tough. Chips were crisp, but strong enough to hold the meat. Cheese was very very sparse. Definitely would order extra cheese next time.
Overall a good experience.
The food is absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere is vibrant. If you’re lucky, you might even get served by the amazing waitress Yolie! She’s friendly and provides excellent service. You should definitely give it a try! 🌮❤️
On a busy Sunday afternoon, I have nothing but positive feedback about my service. The waitress was fast on getting our order and the salsa that was made was delish. Definitely will return in the future.
Stopped here on the way home from Seaworld and so glad we did. I highly recommend this place—everything was fantastic and very affordable. If I am ever in San Antonio again I will make sure to stop here. It was the best Mexican food I have had outside of Mexico. MUY RICO
It was my first time here and the food was amazing.This was the best service I’ve ever experienced and my waitress Yolanda was amazing she attended me very well it really made my experience in this restaurant better and I will definitely be returning

Despite there being many Mexican restaurants to choose from in this area, El Rodeo de Jalisco on Portranco Road is our favorite. The restaurant is ALWAYS clean and the staff is always friendly, greeting us upon entry and at departure.
We always start with Bean & Cheese nachos - even for breakfast - and we have never been disappointed with stale chips or a wonky cheese to bean ratio.
When we dine in, our servers always provide prompt service - taking drink orders and bringing us chips and salsa almost immediately. We have at some point eaten nearly everything on their menu and all of their food is extremely flavorful and authentic and the portions are perfectly sized.
When we order to-go, the orders are always correct and ready in a relatively quick time.
And the beans … the beans are next level delicious. The beans here are better than my grandmas’ - both of them!
We love the food and I highly recommend this restaurant for a filling breakfast, a quick lunch on your own or with colleagues, for dinner with the family or for take-out at any time!

My kids and I love coming here for breakfast ❤️ I always get the migas with corn tortillas (they are homemade tortillas and delicious) and the kids get pancakes. The kids also love the fresh lemonade! Everyone is so friendly, and this may seem silly to some of you, but the thing I love the most is that I can come here and practice my Spanish. I have been teaching myself through an app but it's just not the same as having a conversation with someone. They are so patient and even help me with new words.

Really good tortillas. I love the tripas there (medium for me). I'll drive from Helotes just to get those. The survey crew I was on, we always, and they still do, stopped there in the mornings for breakfast, and always pork chop (which are awesome by themselves) and tripa tacos. So tripa and pork chop tacos there are the best.
I had a very great experience the food was amazing and so was the service, especially from Yolie, she was very attentive and a great server over all. Definitely coming back!
Best Mexican food in San Antonio in my opinion. Food is priced right and it tastes amazing. Never had any problems with customer service and the staff is always nice and professional. I definitely recommend them.
Mannn this is a goooooood spot to get some Mexican food !!! That gravy sauce is to die for! I got the fajita beef enchiladas with white cheese on top instead of cheddar and it was absolutely amazing! The charro beans were delicious as well!! Our server Manuel was so nice and attentive. Seriously trey this place out! Prices are great too! $7 margaritas! We will definitely be back!
